Might be different with the fins fans. But the usual lets bench the starter threads are goig around like crazy.

U all thought Daunte coming in here makes us a superbowl cotender. Last year and this offseason we had a weak secodary, O-line and No LOLB. But because we got a new high profile QB, it was supposed to disguise everything else??

It seems fins fans are never happy with the QB, even when he is on pace for 3700+ yards. We always want to blame the new guy, because we thought he was gonna be our savior.

Now we want Joey Harrington who's QB rating career is 68.1.

When fiedler was starting in 03, you all wanted Griese, but when Griese started playing horrible and cost us that colts game, we all wanted fiedler back.

Last year when Gus was doing bad, u guys wanted Sage to start. WE saw how great he did in his only start of the year against the Browns.

Why is it that we always want to blame the QB for everything. We dont want to look at CC who hasnt gotten open much at all this year. WE cant blame zach for missing tackles in games, but we need to blame Culpepper.

This was so obvious at the beginning of the preseason, on what would happen. The team was mediocre last year barely beating the Jets, Bills, Chargers, and the Patriots practice sqaud. We were all just so blind to see how there are no playmakers on defense and a horrible o-line.

Look at the "good" QBs in the league. See how much time Tom Brady and Peyton Manning have? They have 4+ seconds nearly every play ad Culpepper has about 2 if that.

I guess im just frustrated in that we have so little to cheer for this season we r calling for one of the biggest NFL busts to be our offensive leader?

Call for Joey all u want but i doubt that he will make u guys happy.

R u all just looking for the second coming of Dan Marino? If so, dont, it isnt going to happen. There will never be another QB who can disguise all the weaknesses of a team.

Thank U, I thought this year....

all the Culpepper nut huggers were allready identified. Guess we missed some.

Most of the fans here want the TEAM to win.

I completely agree with you CC, however I believe that all teams have certain weaknesses. The problem is that the Dolphins havent been able to overcome their weaknesses by stepping up in other areas of the game. What people fail to remember is that we ALMOST beat the steelers, and the texans. I know almost doesnt cut it but to blame the QB for those losses is plain wrong. One play here or there that goes the other way and we win those games and no one is bitching... well, almost no one. All one can do is HOPE that saban keeps these guys heads up and strives for their improvement. If the Dolphins can just focus for 4 quarters then they will show improvement everygame and eventually become a team to be reckoned with.

Oh Goodie, another who's a real fan and who's not thread..... I was getting worried, havn't seen one in the last hour !!!!!!!!!!!

I thought Miami would do great things this year because I thought our O line, and secondary were much improved, but I guess I was wrong. I agree with this post 100%. You can't just blame Daunte, but you still have to wonder what would happen with Joey playing QB. I don't think what happened in Detroit was his fault either......

We are calling for a healthy QB....if DC is not at 100% why shouldn't we want Joey in there?

heres my opinion...........harrington shouldve been starting since day one........culpepper doesnt look comfortable on the field yet.....for that reason alone he should not be on starting......even if you gave him all the protection in the world, the guy looks to be afraid to step in and throw a ball........as for harrington, you cant blame him for detroit, joe montana wouldve sucked there.........

What the hell did Marino do? Everything he did was individual records, he
din't win the big one so why should this guy be treated like he was god. I'm a fin fan but i don't sweat Marino because everytime we needed the big win the guy choked, and everyone blamed the d-fense, or the fact that we did not have a running back. Get over it. How many teams have won S.B. lacking some of the samethings? A lot of them, so don't credit a guy that as far as team awards did nothing for the fins.

You can take yards all u want, but it's TD's that are what put points on the board. That and limiting TO's is a great recipe for success. After all, didn't Vinny Testaverde have a whole bunch of yards in his early Tampa Bay days? How did that end?

I feel like I just got a lecture from my dad. I'm sorry:(

no but a change of qb is not what we want at all.

Are you effing kidding me. You swear like it was Marino's fault that he pretty much always had an average team around him.
