THANK YOU A.J. &
Finheaven!

For helping make The Lee County Chapter of The Buoniconti Fund's 6th Annual Grouper Grab charity fishing tournament a HUGE success! This year's tourny was our biggest yet featuring 62 boats, 250 anglers and bringing in approx. $25,000 for The Miami Project To Cure Paralysis.

For pictures of the tournament visit: http://www.thenauticalmile.net/grouper_grab.html

NOTE:
My sincerest apologies to you guys who showed up and were turned away. It was my fault and I feel awful! I'm personally embarrassed and dissappointed by what happened and will make better arrangements next year if you are willing to give us another shot.

Sincerely,

Jay Lawrence
Lee County Chapter Head of
The Buoniconti Fund

So what kind of deal are you offering us next year to make up for this year?

I'm not sure what we'll be able to do yet.
It was huge expense to some of us and quite embarassing to all of us so, it would be nice of you to make it up to us somehow.

Its nice that you apologized but you really should make it up to those involved beyond a promise to make better arrangements next year.....just my opinion.

Send me your address and gas bills. I'll send you some T-shirts, hats, and pay your gas bills and take it out as an expense of the tournament. I'm sure $100 wont set the Miami Project's search for a cure back too much.

Nice, if we want to be recompensated, it comes with the guilt of taking money away from the search for a cure for paralysis.

yikes......

Maybe PM's would be a better way to deal with this fellas. Starting to look a little ugly.:(
You're right ....but, it's not just starting to look ugly, it has looked ugly and for the most part not one of us has said anything about it, we certainly haven't made a big deal out of it but, this is like throwing it in our faces.....

Sounds like a bad experience, mistakes were made, people's feelings were hurt. Been in similar situations before, on both sides of the coin. I'd just take Calmrage's offer to sort out the financial part of it at face value. You know you went there for the right reasons, no guilt on your part.
