I don't know if anyone has posted such a thread, but I want to thank our GM and Head Coach for doing one freakin' OUTSTANDING job.

What a turnaround from last year; the best EVER in the NFL!

We Dolphin fans are grateful for the job you have done and the obvious amount of hard work you have put into taking this team from 1-15 to where it is today.

GO DOLPHINS! And thank you Mr. Parcells and Mr. Sparano; you are VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!
 
Yes I have and for the blow hards who said they would "wait to see the product rather than be blindly optimistic" where the hell are you...? Give the Brass props it all started one night when they determined that rather than make a sexy splash we needed to address the O and D lines... Chad coming over was more Karma than a plan..

Thanks for sticking to the plan...
 
Not to be technical but Bill Parcells is not the GM. That job belongs to Jeff Ireland. Mr. Parcell's title is VP of football operations.

I also ditto the the sentiment as these three have given all dolphans the best Xmas present of all...." a winning season and maybe a playoff appearence".

By the way Merry Xmas to all Dolphins fans!
 
it's amazing.... Parcells does this everywhere he goes. Truly a gifted man when it comes to football.
 
A castoff quarterback, an undrafted rookie, practice squad players and backups from Dallas, a rookie head coach. Damn Impressive to be where we are. OUTSTANDING JOB FELLAS!:up:
 
its funny that if you go back to the off-season and pre-season when people were making predictions, the people who said 11-6 and 10-5 we're laughed at. look at the phins now. somebody should bump one of those threads so people can look at them.

People were being realisitc. People did'nt expect much from a team that was 1-15 the previos season. Most of the people who said the Fins would be below .500 seen this as a three or five year plan.

The Fins are over-acheiving from a very soft schedule. Next year will be the real test for the Fins and this franchise.

I may take some heat from some of you for what I am about to say....

Thank you Mr. Wayne Huizenga for doing what we all knew needed to be done. Go spend some money and bring in the guy with the proven track record for turning these types of messes into successes. I may not have agreed with alot of your decisions with this team in the past, but it looks like your last will have been your best. Way to go out on top.
 
I agree with the sentiments 100%. Our turnaround has defied belief. Not to be too technical but we've achieved the greatest turnaround of a 1 win team.. but have one win to go to match the greatest turnaround ever which was the Colts going from 3-13 to 13-3. Either way, who'd a thunk it, eh?

No....Wayne is a terrible owner. He's only gone out and gotten the leading candidate for the job openings we've had every single time...Well, Dumbstadt excluded...

As his last hire, he goes out and gets Parcells who gets Sparano and Ireland.

Nope...Terrible owner. He gets no credit because that would mean people would have to look at him favorably, and that's just not fashionable.
 
Parcells is not our GM. This is exactly why I made the thread about Ireland being forgotten about. And I had not seen this at the time

So by him going out and getting leading candidates makes him a terrible owner? You have pretty much proved the point that some Miami Dolphin fans will never be happy no matter what.

In your eyes, Wayne would have been darned if he do and darned if he dont. I dont get it.
