Thanks Brett.... Your decision to come out of retirement and force a trade just to spite the Packers, helped my Fins land a veteran QB without having to give up any draft picks. Granted, he's not perfect... but he has a great knowledge of the game and keeps the mistakes to a minimum. He's by far an upgrade over any other options that were out there. In addition, he's a great mentor to our QB of the future, who can now learn the game gradully rather than being thrown to the wolves.

Thanks Brett... I owe you one!
 
I was telling the Jets just this on their forums. I wasn't really trying to troll or nothing, but they seemed pretty sensitive about the subject.

we all owe him one.. and he is still continuing to leave his legacy of most INTs ever.. A mark that keeps getting set by favre every week. A record that most likely, will stand in NFL history forever.:kick:
 
one of my boys is a jets fan. He talked all game about chad, saying he wasn't a franchise quarterback. As we both watched chad pick the second best team in the afc apart, I laughed. "haha, 300 yards and 140 qb rating isn't franchise quarterback potential. Farve is looking great, 3 ints? lol.." What a great player.. oh, and the jets are leading miami by 1 game... hmmm, lol.. I couldnt of asked for anything anymore than what miami has right now.. miami could be 6 and 4 come thanksgiving!
 
The great thing is that when Favre really retires in a year or two we may still have Chad doing well for us. :lol:
 
Love the pickup of Pennington.

However, I just got back from watching the Saints vs Chargers in London & seeing Drew Brees throw a perfect pass in between defenders & his great pocket presence made me wonder what could have been instead of the Daunte Culpepper fiasco.

Anyway time to move on, enough of the past!
 
He has been a stabilizing force for the phins, I hope he continues to get better and the phins develop the young talent they have at WR
 
I admit i was not to happy at first and not all because of the fact it was chad but bringing a qb that close to the start of season seemed like a tall task. But he just keeps getting better and better and he is doing a hell of a job. Big thanks to the jets.
Oh and NO ONE WILL EVER TOUCH HIS INT MARK.
 
I agree. whoever thinks otherwise deserves another beer all other them.

"penny" "is [our] best QB" since Marino.
 
Amazing!!! Just last week, some were calling for him to be benched. Ride him for the rest of the year unless he gets hurt.
 
He was great today and now that he seems willing to throw down field I am out of negative things to say about him. Good stuff.

So true. If you are referring to GangGreen, then wow. Last time I mentioned the words "Pennington" on that site, it sparked an all out war between Jest Fans :lol:

Haha. No, they started the discussion, I just chimed in. I guess they were kicking themselves bad enough, without a fin fan chiming in. But hey, they do it here so what the hay. It was JetNation by the way. :D

Ahh I see. Stay away from GangGreen at all costs. It's impossible to start a conversation on that forum, the homerism is too much to handle.
