Well i like you have seen the news...and even though he is seeking a second opinion i doubt Dr. Andrews will give him a hugely different answer...i mean he wont go on no your fine its only 2 weeks. :aww:

And i wanted to PERSONALLY AND PUBLICLY thank Penny for all the hard work you put in. You came in last season with very little prep time and won us alot of games. You rubbed off on new guys and vets. I only hope that Henne learned and follows your work ethic and dedication to being an NFL QB. And i hope you stay with us and teach him throughout this season. I have been critical of your performances at times but you have never wavered in your intensity for football. Thank you for everything you have given to us and here is to a speedy recovery. :thanks:

I am a Henne supporter but i never wanted him to get the job this way i wanted him to earn it. But his is the way it happened and now it is time to deal with it and find a way to get Henne ready to be our QB for the rest of the season and the future.

I pray that you end up a coach in Miami sometime in your future as I know we would be better for it.

Thanks Chad. Thank you for that playoff year and being such a classy guy. This kind of just works out for us. I hope we don't see I told you so threads about Henne whenever he does something. We're all on the same side here
 
thank you chad, i've been an avid supporter of you, but if henne does bad, i hope the critical dolphins fans will treat him as unfair as they did for you...
 
Chad you deserve a spot on the team, either as back up or as a coach. I hope they take care of you. If not, I might need some help in my office.
 
I also was for Henne starting at some point, but I as well did NOT, DID NOT want it to happen this way. Man, I really feel for Pennington, I hope we can have him on the staff as an assistant QB coach, kind of like what Terry Glenn has been doing for us.

i just hope he gets better and can mentor Henne...not how to be Chad Pennington but how to be Chad Henne how to be a successful NFL QB lead a team

I hope Chad retires as a Dolphin. I am crushed he is out for the year.
 
I have never in my life, even as a young child, written a letter to an athlete. But I am strongly considering writing him.

Pennington has said that he wants to be a coach after his NFL career is done. He mentioned being a high school coach. I think he should think a little bigger ... to the college level. Who knows maybe an NFL QB coach if that's what he wants to do.

Sadly, it looks like he's going to get his next career started earlier than he expected. His damned shoulder looks like it finally gave out. It would take a huge effort to rehab his way back into an NFL starting QB job again. Don't know if another team would make him a starter again if he did make it back. He might could be a backup for a few more years. Never know.
