jacksonville's o-line was like swiss cheese...lol, alot of teams have failed to stop jones drew like the fins did today
 
That long pass was on Smith! He was playing in a 2 deep formation with safety help. Smith played back off the line and got no bump on the WR, in that formation you play aggressive off the line bumping the WR of his route when you release him to the safety. BAsically he handed Holt off to Wilson with a full head of steam! Not Wilsons fault, Gibril actually had a solid game today!
 
Defense won the game today. Nice to see them step up finally. Henning/Williams/Bess made that game a lot closer than it should have been. Bess is Mr. Fumbles himself and for some infuriating reason Henning insists on using 1 Wr sets on obvious passing downs. We're the only team who thinks 1 Wr vs 4 DB's is a good idea. We tore them up all 1st half with multiple receiver sets yet we go away from it even when its apparent to everybody that the 1 Wr/draw **** doesnt work. A win is a win but sheesh our coaches do everything they can to handicap us on offense.

I'm not letting Gibril off the hook so easily. He was looking in the backfield when Holt made his double move, and he blew right by him.

Completely agree Smith got beat on the move but Gibrils only job is to stay over the top on that and he too got beat unacceptable

Bess was put in a bad situation but he still shouldn't have fumbled. I blame Henning though for calling that crappy play.

Sorry but this is wrong, Smith had help so he was able to jump the quick out. Wilson was suppose to cover the deep but he bit on the double move aswell even though that's not his job. Nothing about that play was Smith's fault, that's all on Wilson not doing his own job. That's why it's 2 deep, there's help deep but not on that play thanks to Wilson.

You are correct sir! That pick was all on Wilson. Deep help means deep help.

I agree but Smith should know he cant leave Wilson one on one thats just asking for it :chuckle:
