Don Shula was given a great b-day party from Dolphins. It was running on aquavision and I am not sure if it was on TV down there sense I do not live there anymore, but it should. You got listen to great stories from good friends, former players, and even the commissioner of the NFL. Fergie also sang happy birthday which was a little weird, but none the less always great to listen how fans become fans and how they are not just owners they are truly fans. The last thing was a gift to Don which is something he should put there LONG time ago a statue Don Shula being pick up by two players that will be put in front of Landshark stadium standing about at 11ft. This is certainly was fun to watch and all of you get a chance to watch it yourselves. Happy birthday Don and GO DOLPHINS!

The statue is of the moment right after winning our first Superbowl. The only difference is Don is holding his fist up and only shows the two that are holding him up Nick Buonticonti and Al Jenkins.

Wow-My condolonces. Tell me though, what kind of internet connection do you get in the afterlife?

 Sense I do not live there anymore... thanks for finding that

Don Shula, a man who personifies class, no coach has ever won more or meant more to his team than "The Don". Thanks for the memories.

I do have to wonder why they have waited almost 15 years to place a statue for him at Joe Robbie Stadium. I know Jimmy Johnson's ego would never have allowed it while he was there but why didn't Huzienga make this happen sooner? It took Ross to make sure this happened. Ross gains some credibility with me for respecting our history.
