For giving me more enjoyable moments in 3 games than I got all of last year
For slowly gaining back the respect of the rest of the league, the media, the fans
For bringing a whole new way of doing things, preparation, commitment, teaching and responsibility
For making me believe again that we are in any game we play
For mostly bringing back slowly and surely the pride we have as Dolphin fans
I watched Game Of The Week last night and I had goosebumps. The intensity Saban showed...all of the coaches...the players...and the scenes in the lockeroom were just amazing. I am not saying we are there yet...but I know for SURE we are headed in the right direction and we have the right MAN for the job. So lets all be patient...for in the coming weeks are some tough, real tough games on the road..so no matter what...lets keep the faith and realize that we are moving in the direction that last year we could have never imagined.
Thank You Nick Saban

Saban just keeps impressing me more every time I see/hear him. That Game of the Week last night was just awesome, I haven`t felt this good about our team in a long time!

Agreed.

Everytime I watch film of him instructing the team and preaching to them...I want to give a hell yeah...and suit up.!!!!

Did you all catch this. I was watching Dolphin Insider, and the Daily wrap-up show from 9/28. You have to watch Saban answer the press questions.

You dont really get to hear the question, just his responses.

But one response had to do with teams matching up against his Defense and successes of receivers vs DB's in particular. Saban doesnt seem happy, and talks about changing personnel and coaching techniques....the reporter asks if he can state the personnel changes or technique adjustments he is thinking about.

To paraphase, Saban says "No, I wouldnt tell you, but if you want, I can call Bill directly and tell him, or better yet, I will just call Buffalo and tell them...."

Thats hysterical. Typical media. And a great response.....

I watched it too :D ....not only did I watch it, I recorded on my hard drive and put it on my Sony PSP to watch while I ride the subway to work. It is magnificent to say the least. Kudos to NFL Films for creating a top notch production so quickly!

Right now, coach of the year will be Jon Gruden. Rookie coach of the year is Saban, no doubt.

Thats cool...

The locker room footage is sweet. I loved how the locker room erupted when Saban gave the team Thur, Fri, Sat, and Sun this week off.....

I tell ya, even watching some of the training camp highlights....when Saban is addressing the team, I am on the edge of my seat scared that he is going to look at the camera and yell at me for not doing something right to help the team....hahahahaha.

He is a great motivator and knows how to hit all the right buttons. I have a hunch that will go a long way to making sure no let down occurs as the season wears on.

Have to concur with the sentiment there, it feels good to regain the leagues respect so soon. I also thank St Nick for this !!! We have a coach again, kids. :D

Marvin Lewis.

Everything you see and hear about this guy is just what we needed. It is so nice to have Sundays back...to actually look forward to the game...and all that goes with it.
