We can thank the Patriots for that extra 1st round draft pick that brought Philip Merling to Miami. Merling was the difference in Sunday's game against the Jets with his intereception return for a TD. The result was that the Jets and the Patriots were both knocked out of the playoffs. How ironic. I guess it just proves that "cheaters never win". :hi5:

I have never seen a big man switch the ball like that from hand to another to make sure it could not be slapped away. Many Running Backs should take note of how this big man got it into the end zone!!!!

We only have to thank them if they would have taken him with that pick, one spot ahead of us.

That was unreal! I had to rewind that one about three or four times.

Exactly. So since we had the first pick in the 2nd round, we technically got the 32nd pick

lol the pick was still in the second round tho . . . and if the OP wants to make it seem like we got an extra first rounder, that is fine . . . but he should also say that we LOST the first pick of the second round as well.

How did they give us a 1st rounder? Wasn't the 32nd pick officially "forfeited"?

The Pats had to forfeit that pick for the video cheating scam. It ended up being our 1st pick of the 2nd round as a result. Either way, their loss was our great gain and it helped to knock them out of the playoffs. :hi5:

That really was a great piece of running. I bet half of the runningbacks in the NFL couldn't have switched hands as quickly as that. It sure beats when Jason Taylor would hold the ball up in the air with one hand.
