for signing a pass rushing beast in free agent Cam Wake

for re-signing the backbone of our secondrary, Yeremiah Bell

for keeping an important part of our run d in Channing Crowder

for re-signing Mount Vernon and keeping the bookends of our line together for a long time

for snagging Gibril Wilson, a young hard hitting safety that should give us one of the best safety tandems in the league.

for added o-line depth with Joe Berger.

We know that free agency ISNT OVER and more pieces will be added.

And most importantly, thanks for not dishing out tons of cash to players that never live up to their gigantic price tags.

ive been thinking if they will grab a real FS in draft and play wilson at FS til bell leaves and then shift him over to where he is most comfortable (SS). and the FS from draft in a couple years will be ready to start.
 
come on guys, we could have won the SB next yr if he had just given haynesworth the 100 mil he wanted to be our NT and maybe 55 mil to meangelo Hall and 50 mil to bart scott....then have to blow upthe team all over again the following year....doesnt that sound like more fun?
 
ummmm well hmmm...lets see there is a center out there thats 25 and is WORTH every penny-im not happy with Berger... we have the opportunity for our OLine to be GREAT- even if we dont get any skills and dont get a corner back and want to dip into the plethera of still talented CB that can be had cheap....even if we dont want any WR's which we dont reaaaaalllly need are we really going to depend on a draft where we not only pick really late but the players we want are we going to scale up and down the board to get them? No because we are not going to give up draft pics so in a lot of instances we are going to get second rated players at positions we NEED


all im saying is get Brown and ONE CB i dont care who....and then we can piss away the draft on unprovens

hmmm...How much cap space do we still have ?
hmmm...How much do we need to save to sign our draft picks ?
hmmm...Do you build a solid team thru FA or thru the draft ?
hmmm...Do we still have the ability to trade ?
hmmm...Trifecta takes us from 1-15 to 11-5 and has a plan...hmmm...buy into their plan or buy into your tragic Brown or bust opinion...hmmm... :D

He played FS in NY
 
We still have room to either sign Coles or Houshmanzadeh.

If we nab one of those at the right price, then I'll be very happy.
 
Much love for the post...the trifecta has done a great job thus far and we have a long time left we will make some moves no doubt.

The Jets went out and got almost every big name on the market last year, where did that leave them at season's end? I agree with the masses on this one my friend- build through the draft and fill holes via free agency. Besides, has Parcells ever gotten it wrong...really?
