Well, the team we've been accustomed to showed up today. In typical Dolphins fashion, they get just good enough for me to start deluding myself into thinking about the playoffs only to crash and burn. Why the constant heart-wrenching????

There, I've got out my frustration. I know we are going to start a lot of 'the Dolphins are the worst team in the history of football' threads this week but let's have some perspective. We had a 4 game winning streak. We still have a winning record and are on track to finish the season with a winning record. We have probably the best judge of talent in the league guiding us through the offseason. A lot of good things going for us.

Probably no playoffs this year (Ravens and Jets killed it today and the Colts have a cupcake game against the Chargers tonight) but we shouldn't start naysaying this team. We are MILES ahead of where we should be. Let's try to keep it positive this week and talk about how we could improve in the closing weeks. I know we are all disappointed but let's try to remember where we've been and where we're headed.

I think we have to start by addressing our DBs (who showed today they can not hang with elite receivers).

6-5 so far its no that bad...way better than last year, if you ask me
anyways Go Dolphis!!!

I am proud of this team and what a great future we have. This game was a war that unfortunately, did not go our way. We lost to a good team amd will bounce back next week. 6-5 is still a helluva lot better than 0-11.

GO PHINS!!!!!

i was mad, we just suck at elite receivers, we need a good shutdown corner, and we should go all d this offseason. i hate cassel, ugh.

We just need a good offseason, which is guaranteed since we have Parcells and Co. running the show.

We're still over .500 after week 12. Who even thought that was possible at the beginning of this seaoson? I KNOW we'll come out a lot stronger against the Lambs next week. This was an disheartening loss and I have a feeling that Sparano and company are gonna have us come out with a force next week!

We just don't have any safeties to help with the pass. Our corners arn't all that bad. Singling Moss most of the game was bad game planning. We need to spend our first pick on a pass rushing OLB or Run stuffing MLB. This was the hardest game i've watched all season, but given we are above .500 I have to say this game turned out exactly as I expected. The spy coach new all he had to do was keep off the presure of the QB and we had no chance. I'd like to think we will take out this loss on the Rams next week just to redeem the manhood of the defense.

I am proud of this team. We're not at the same level as NE yet. 6-5 with 10-6 not out of question yet. Either way who would have thought that at Thanksgiving week-end we'd be playing meaningful games.

I can't wait for next Sunday and hopefully we can rebound to 7-5.

Do you know who will be available in the offseason that we could go after? I'm not doing fantasy this year so I haven't been following individual players a lot this year....

I know that we definetely gave the Pats a scare.. but really, who's idea was it to have single coverage on Moss all game? Someone needs to be fired

Yeah, I think we were just worried about Welker catching something underneath and breaking one (like he always does). So they let them man up against Randy to contain everyone else and it didn't work out. Randy just has too much speed to 1 on 1 against any of our backs (and the refs helped him out a bit).

Yep true, I think we just, from a mute point, did not have enough talent to contain these guys, even with the right calls.. our best DB is Yeremiah Bell and as far as talent he is probably a backup on most teams :( Next year though we'll get there, we only adressed a quarter of the team this year

I didnt get to see the game but our stats look pretty good if we played hard and didnt give up then im okay (not with the loss but in general)
there is always next week to take out our frustration on the RAMS lets keep our chin high

they beat us but they didnt own us like we did them early this season

still hate the patriot and I will always love the dolphins

My concern is Camarillo...we just gave him money and I think he tore his ACL. I wouldn't be surprised if Jake Long's injury is worse than expected either. Yes, we have improved, but we are still a long way away. This year's draft is suspect too.

At least we're not as pathetic as the Lions, Raiders, Niners, Rams, Chiefs, or Bengals this year! And we still play half those teams this year!
