I was pleasantly suprised with Morris/Minor's performance and the run blocking today. But as usual, when something is working well Mularkey goes in the opposite direction. Honestly I think he overthinks his playcalling and MUST GO!!!!

We went down 14 points becasuse we strayed from the run and couldn't put any drives together. Our offense had to many short drives and put our D in bad spots.

Well id probably point out we dont seem to have a running back at our disposal just now but as you so eloquently pointed out you already know that ........ :sidelol: LMAO

Mularkey just doesn't get the running thing. But when there's 1:50 left in the first half and we have all our timeouts and we're kicking off to start the second half. That's when we run the ball!

We went down 14 points because our QB is a perennial backup who throws more interceptions than touchdowns, because our offensive line is a bunch of fat dudes who can't trap or pull, so that our running plays always have to be between the tackles; because our secondary stinks all around; and because we couldn't put any pass rush on a mobile QB with a fine arm. NOT because we gave up on the run.

You play the percentages. These people have the best red zone defense in the league. Our OL isn't going to move those behemoths at defensive tackle, and all we seem to be able to do is run between the tackles (we don't try anything else; there must be a reason for that). What's left? You try to pass it in.

Mularkey........his name says it all. I've kept my mouth shut this entire season until now.

This dude is garbage. He needs to go back to Barfalo where he belongs. Hiring no good head coaches to take the place of assistants is stupid. Mularkey is garbage, and there is a reason he was run out of Barfalo. Because he sucks and his offense schemes suck. Saban sucks for letting him get away with this crap. Joey is not a Payton Manning who can win games on his arm alone. He needs a balanced and controlling type offense. You call plays that accent your players not the other way around. It really isn't rocket science. The games are won on the line. No line, no win. That goes for both sides of the ball.
