Hi, Detroit Fan here.

Just wondering about your thoughts on the Thanksgiving Day Game. Detroit fans are really hoping you guys win, but you're looking pretty bad at the moment. Starting 1-4 with the easiest schedule in the league means the lowly Lions might actually put up a fight against you.

Hopefully the atmosphere in Ford Field should be pretty grim during the game. There are multiple walkouts, color outs, protest parades, ect. being planned. You think this will have any effect on the Miami players?

Detroit fans have also expressed a desire to sell their Turkey Day game tickets to Miami fans. Would you be interested in this? We'd love to see Ford Field full of Dolphin fans.

The ideal situation would be that Joey comes back and scores 5 TD's easily. That would really be the icing on the cake. Is DC's injury the kind that could be agrivated to the point of deactivation?

Lastly I guess I'd be interested in knowing how you'd feel about a revolt by the Lions fans in Detroit. A lot of national fans keep saying things to me like "things will get better" , "you can't be down forever". That is crap. We've been down for 50 years. 1 playoff win in that time. Countless embarressing moments. Countless underachieving. Would it affect you at all I guess is my question.

Thanks for your time- Good luck with the season! I hope Joey "Ballgame" pulls you through to a winning season.

With all due respect, the Thanksgiving game is a long way away for us Dolphins fans.

We really want to beat the stinking jets this week.

Perhaps that is why this thread has no replies in it.

 your already thinking about better draft position, do you guys think about that every season? not trying to be a troll but your always bad

O, you're absolutly right! We're horrible! We don't even look forward to draft day anymore. We've wasted 3 top ten picks all within 4 years. We look forward to protesting now.

Detroit will be horrible has long as Matt Millien is there.

I hope Miami plays Detriot well. Miami usually does good on T-Day. I am think about gettin tickets to that game since it was the first NFL game i went to back in 2000 ( I Think ) but it wasnt on T-Day.

You guys protested LAST year - remember the "Orange Out" game?

Dolfans (or any other team) may find this hard to believe BUT - at last year's Cincinnati Bengals game at Ford Field in Detroit, the local "sports talk" radio station organized a large Protest outside. The fans carried Fire Millen signs - and wore the opposing team's colors!! Yes. Lions fans wore Bengals colors and rooted against their own team!! :(

Now remember this was toward the end of a soap opera season, after the Head Coach "Mooch" got fired which was after he benched the starting QB - Joey Harrington, because he wanted to play his boy Jeff Garcia, who stunk things up worse than Joey proving it wasn't Joey's fault after all.

So during this Bengals game - what do the "fans" do? They begin chanting Joe-ey! Joe-ey! Joe-ey! ... and sure enough after Garcia could not move the ball (again) in the 3rd Quarter ... here comes Harrington on the field.

Joey immediately lights things up and drives the Lions right down field. He then throws a TD to Charles Rogers. He looked around at the fans who had booed him for FOUR Years ... for the last time. As if to say - thanks for the memories people. That was Joey Harrington's last game at Ford Field and it was a great moment in Lions history.

It's one of only three games I care about for the rest of the season.

I just hope this team can get it together and have a good showing for this one game on my favorite holiday.

GREAT POST! That's exactly how it went down. I assure you though, this year it will be even better! Trust me, If Joey plays and he throws a couple TD's the Dolphins will feel like they're playing at home.... except with way better air conditioning - the Lions might suck, but Ford Field is an incredible feat of engineering and architecture.

So would anyone be interested in buying T-Day tickets?

I was just thinking how great it would be if Joey was starting against Detroit and lit them up...however that is far away and a lot could happen by then.

I live in Detroit now, and all I can say is I'm glad theres still a team or 2 worse than Miami at this point. Nothing is better than sitting at the sports bar watching the Lions blow another game.

I would be glad to buy some tickets from Lions fans :)

My only question, as a Lions Season ticket holder, which jersey should I wear?

Joey - Lions
Joey - Dolphins

or do I not want to get killed and just wear my Roy Williams jersey?
