No kidding. There isn't a pop Warner or high school coach that would do that.
No one is this stupid. Especially million dollar coaches. Caleb has to be simply doing as he's told to get paid. If this were real, he'd say **** the coach and call a time out. I don't remember where they were but a field goal had to be within reach.

If that were the case, they would have called a penalty to move Chicago up field
 
For thr sake of my fantasy team...let cooper rush's knee be down (2 QB league plus injuries)

It would have been a long field goal......but possible

Regardless, it appeared to me that Williams didn't once consider how little time was left and the Head Coach seemed shocked that time expired, which means he wasn't watching it and yet is the adult in the room and should have called time out and made sure everyone was on the same page. There is zero excuse for that in the NFL

Really a shame, because Williams had a really good 2nd half and had a chance to take this game to OT

Think about the ridiculous amount of hedge bets that were made for both teams as the second half progressed
 
Is the Dolphins game still going to kick off on time? This game is only halfway through the 3rd and the game is meant to kick off in just over an hour.
