The O-line, not culpep. We just completely suck up front and i dont think there is a way we can fix it this year. This season isn't lost yet if NE loses and we beat them next week. Its very close to being done already though.

run blocking is bad, but CPep has 4 to 5 seconds to throw usually, and fails to get rid of the ball in a timely manner

Its a combination of both, the oline really sucks and daunte is'nt quick enough in his back pedal getting setup and he definately holds on to the ball longer than he should,,DOUBLE TROUBLE

Unbelievable. Almost every sack in this game was because Culpepper held the ball too long. I can not believe that people are going this far to make excuses for him. Spare me the BS.

Umm, not this game. Not the last game either. He is only taking 3-4 seconds, the O-line is only giving him 2-3. No QB would do any better with this kind of pass blocking.

ok sure whatever Daunte has plenty of time he just is an idiot who stands there looking around he doesnt really need 19 seconds to throw the ball:tantrum:

Agreed. Culpepper is extremely slow on his drops which really cuts into the time to throw. Combine that and the fact that Culpepper is afraid to let go of the ball to any downfield recievers, and we have problems.

well, that statement is just plain outa wack!!

duante had all day to throw and wouldnt get
rid of the ball. so he got sacked 5 more times!

outside of d-macs 2 false starts and lj's one
brain phart, the line plaid good! expecially
the pass!!

sorry, but duante has to go!!!!!!

Not every sack was his fault. I'd say it was 50/50. Blame to both him for not getting rid of the ball and the oline for being completely worthless. At least we're starting to see Cpep avoid the rush, rollout and make something happen. Thats a good sign.

Watch the game next time please. Take the blinders off, he had no time to throw the ball today. THE TEXANS were in his face within 2-3 seconds. I can't believe people expect Culpepper to have the ball out in 1 second, no one can do that unless it is a designed play thrown to the wr right from the snap.

how anyone can say that this offensive line is not sh*t is crazy, so many false starts, and stupid plays. Daunte is not playing well, but the biggest weak spot on our team is the o-line. LJ shelton is proving that he is a complete bust. I think this is a lost season, I wish I was wrong but we barely beat a terrible titans team and we lost to the texans, the schedule is only going to get tougher as the year goes on and i don't see the O-line improving.

I hate to say this but even Gus Frerotte is better than DC. DC has lost it....too slow, no mobility...don't blame this on the o-line. Of course Saban will not put in Joey, but you know as well as I do, that Joey would be no worse and probably a lot better than DC.

People who say CPep had time . . . . do u realize how many sacks he avoided? I mean it could have been easily 3 or 4 more sacks added to the total. Yea maybe one of those sacks he held on to the ball to long .. . but fact is that OLine is not doing the job . . . and some of these plays that take these receivers on complicated routes that use up time and long handoffs that take forever to develop need to STOP. This line is not giving any time to do any of that kind of stuff.

Look at Peyton Manning, Carson Palmer, Brady even . . . these guys consistently get tons of time. Maybe Pep gets it 1 out of every 10 snaps . . . not fair man.
