Right. It’s the rule but it’s a bad one. The defensive player has no choice other than to give up on the play. They called the same call during The Chargers Washington game.

We all know why...This was a game changer, furious at this more than anything so far.
Oh I totally agree brother its a bad rule. It was referred to to The Tom Brady rule today.Right. It’s the rule but it’s a bad one. The defensive player has no choice other than to give up on the play.
Yes because he got hurt on a play like that back in 2008 I think? Doesn’t make any sense to me.Oh I totally agree brother its a bad rule. It was referred to to The Tom Brady rule today.
These rules are becoming absurd. Was he supposed to offer him his cookies from his lunch before attempting a tackle? Or just stand still and allow him to run around and collapse on the ground and make zero attempt to tackle anyone because it might be seen as helmet to helmet or trying to tackle (god forbid he falls down while trying to make a play). Love the dolphins but the rules are getting plain dumb. Can't lunch at the knees, he has to wrap up below or above and not shoulder tackle at the knees.
I heard that too. He said Preston was the fastest guy before we drafted Waddle. My son and I were like WTF, just stop talkingOh lord. The idiot announcer just said Preston Williams was a "track meet" speed guy. Stop them from making my brain hurt.
That's actually the rule as far as I understand it. You cannot go low on the QB unless you're chasing him from behind outside the pocket. The official enforced the rule. It's a bad rule in that instance but not a horrible call. That was the worst call I’ve ever seen in my life. And it wasn’t inconsequential. It resulted in free points for the Patriots.
He's gone but his ghost lives on every telecast...Oh I totally agree brother its a bad rule. It was referred to to The Tom Brady rule today.
