I'm not a huge fan of Grier, but I've always been a fan of his brother.

I have no issues bringing in a new GM, if a clear upgrade is available. I'm not a fan of change for the sake of change.

You may come back and say anyone would be better, but clearly judging by our own team's history for the past 25 years that isn't the case.

So becuase we've had awful GMs for 25 years we should just stop trying to find a better one?

Where's the fight? Where's the passion? You don't just give up and accept that becuase we've always had awful GMs, might as well just be content with the current awful GM.

It doesn't appear like it.

Most who want Grier fired at all costs figure any replacement will automatically be better. They may have people in mind they'd like to replace him with but above all else they want him fired.

My opinion is he's been kept for the year, so let's see how his plan progresses and his draft and FA signings pan out.

If there is one thing that we can all unite on, its that we want a very good next GM.

And the insult thing is very real, there is a thread poll that's on this site that literally has insults as part of almost every poll option and in this thread alone the "realists" have been called flies on horseshit and trolls. How are these things not insults?

There have been multiple times where certain posters, have stated the best thing for the team would be for Tua to take another hit and retire. You specifically came extremely close to legally slandering Tua (which I sent you a very friendly PM, vetted by one of my attorneys) as a word of friendly caution) with your inference that he was using drugs on the video his wife placed on twitter. I did that because I thought it could impact the site.

Take a moment and reflect. Seriously. Who started labeling pro- Tua defenders as TUANON? Who started labeling positive fans as using AQUA COLORED GLASSES?

The term “Realists” doesn’t apply to your small group. You seem fixated on a name (weren’t you calling yourselves “the Collective” or some other nonsense earlier) perhaps too many comic books? Lol.

Realists, don’t exclusively dwell on the negative. Especially when we have made the playoffs twice in the last 3 years.

Where there is common ground for all fans, including you, is that we all want to win a Super Bowl . Nobody is satisfied with anything less, but a “realistic mindset” can appreciate the steps we make on that journey.

Provoking responses, and then complaining/ running to the mods when people engage with those provocations, is simply juvenile.

The only thing that suffers is FH.

I mean I like Tua. I want him to do well. But burrow. Man. Then Jefferson. Maybe just maybe.

1993. We had great team. Lose Marino and half team
1994 pretty good team. We lost Kirby and Byers and offense is not the same after.

We were this close to trotting out a Terron Armstead-Trey Smith-Creed Humphrey-Robert Hunt-Penei Sewell line.

Burrow and and that oline along with Tyreek Jonathan Taylor and whatever FA we put around them. That’s a championship core I don’t care what anyone says….you could’ve also taken Jamarr Chase instead of Sewell and signed a decent FA like Morgan Moses etc.

Still sad they butchered the rebuild so bad, oh what could’ve been…

Hypothetical question, if we were to win a super bowl THIS year, would some of you still consider that a bad thing?

Never, I’ll take any SB victory as long as it’s not some BS like the missed PI call in the Saints game where everyone said they deserved to lose.

A clear SB victory, close game or not, sign me up as long as no one gets permanently hurt. All day every day.

I know that means Grier stays, but it also means he built a Super Bowl champion so he gets another leash on life imo, and he would deserve it IF we win a Super Bowl.
