The 2nd preseason game is almost here already!

I am actually looking forward to it. I'm thinking that there will be a little more gameplanning and a little more of both the O and the D installed by this point. I want to see what Gus does against the Jags excellent D. I doubt we'll get much as far as running room, and I don't really see us winning, but it doesn't really matter. If the Oline blocks and we don't have any 30+ yard passes against us, I'll be a happy man.

I'm excited. I'll be even more excited if I can find a way to watch the game live.

You can bet I'll be tuning in on nfl.com with the game tracker if they have it up. Later, I'm sure there'll be lots of passing around some torrents and whatnot to watch the game. That's how I plan on evaluating the tape.

Wow....your right....Friday already, very excited, too bad I cant watch it since im in PA.

I predict we win 27-24 Feely goes 12-19 with 1 TD, Frerotte starts and goes 11-20 with 1TD and 1 INT, Sage goes 7-16 with 0TD and 1INT, and Berlin goes a surprising 13-17 with 2TD and 0INT. Mare boots 2 FG one from 33yds and one from 45. The starting D looks good but we get beat deep too much again. Gordon looks like a princesss running, and Ricky, Morris and Harris all impress.

WOW you predict Miami will be 43-72 passing?

I'm actually looking forward to seeing how Berlin plays again. I was really surprised how well he did for his first time in a pro game. If he can keep it up, I would love to see him on the practice squad and perhaps on a European team next summer getting his experience up!!

72 pass attempts huh. Dang that's a lot of passing for a 27-24 game. Hmm, predictions predictions.

I guess I'll predict that Frerotte only gets 7 pass attempts. Saban will want to put Feeley in a little on the early side since Frerotte got more action than expected last week. I predict Feeley will get at least 11 attempts, maybe playing a little into the 3rd quarter so that he doesn't feel in any way shortchanged by what happened last week. From there I could see Rosenfels and Berlin having a total of about 10 to 12 pass attempts...making between 28 and 30 attempts for the game. As much as we want to find out what the passing game has, they really need to start upping the repetitions in the running game so that the OL can find their groove.

Particularly I feel that the management has to start making a decision as to what to do with Berlin. We've seen that he has the ability to play in the NFL either as a backup or as a starter. We need to figure out a way to keep tabs on him. If we want to hide him on the practice squad, we'd better stop getting him so many reps where everyone can see them. If we want to try and trade Sage Rosenfels, we had better start getting him MORE reps where everyone can see them. So all in all, I wouldn't be surprised at all if Brock only has like 4 or 5 attempts.

With Jax big DT's getting push on the starter Seth McKinney, Gus may have a tough time getting passes off. Can someone on defense sniff the quarterrback this week??
