The QB draft is tonight... hey, it's football.

Any Dolphin fans choosing to root for a team in this minor league? I may look into the Birmingham Iron since I'm an Alabama fan. They have a team in Orlando. I live in South Carolina so closes to me would be the Atlanta team or the Memphis team...

  1. San Diego Fleet
  2. Birmingham Iron
  3. Arizona Hotshots
  4. Orlando Apollos
  5. Atlanta Legends
  6. Salt Lake Stallions
  7. Memphis Express
  8. San Antonio Commanders
That's the teams and the order of their draft/protect scheme which is detailed here:

Probably Birmingham. Joe Pendry is one of the best coaches I've ever seen - especially offensive line. He was Bama's OL coach under Saban until he retired. Our offensive line actually went the entire season without a single holding penalty one year under Pendry. He also coached Marino when he was a freshman at Pitt.

What's interesting is to see all the former Dolphin coaches and executives that are now in this league - David Lee, Kevin Coyle, Randy Mueller, etc.

Dolphins should look into finding out if they're more of a fit for this league.

In semi related news the XFL announced that when their 2020 season starts the teams will be in New York, LA, Dallas, Houston, Seattle, St Louis, Tampa, and Washington

oh wow I might have to keep up with birm a little. Logan was coach at ECU back when I was there. sad part is we took him for granted, many chants of "**** YOU LOGAN!" I don't even know why, I was just a drunk college kid going with the flow. but I guess when most of your chants use the F bomb "we're going beat the F--- out of you!" then it doesn't have to make sense.

heres the qb draft though even though obviously nobody seemed to care about this league lol

  1. I guess I might have to pull for san diego since they are rocking the ECU QB, maybe he'll recruit zay and get him the hell off the bills. if SD-ATL is televised I'd prob watch it, Murray was a man crush of mine from back when I believe he was a fresh or soph. he went ape **** in a game and I was like this is going to be a stud QB I hope in 2-3 years hes a fin. and nice to see that Hack found him a job also

it looks like final rosters are out, I didn't even know they were starting so soon, first game is in month....

going thru list of former fins players that I recognize off top of my head, im sure ill forget a couple of **** ones as well as remember a couple **** players. and also some surprise to see their names pop up...non qb cause they are already listed

Atlanta Legends...Jeff Luc....LB

Birmingham Iron....Lawrence Okoye...DT..... also Trent Richardson, damn the RB vision is important

Memphis Express....Drew Morgan....WR...
Dallas Thomas....G.... Lol nice pick
Julius Warmsley...DE....

Orlando Appolos.....no one! screw them

Arizona Hotshots....Thomas Duarte....TE...another good draft pick (too bad they got my boy Bryce WIlliams from ECU so Duarte gets no PT)

Salt Lake Stallions....Trevor Reilly...LB .....(How the hell did I remember this name) they have Matt Asaita too, that man fell off the face of the earth quick

San Antonio Commanders....Andrew McDonald...OT....(how the hell did I remember this name)

San Diego Fleet....Gavin Escobar...TE

wouldn't mind seeing Morgan and Duarte succeed. we drafted and tried to change Duarte into something he wasn't, and liked morgan for some reason

Joe Pendry will have that scrub Dallas Thomas playing like Randall McDaniel.

Trent ran good behind his blocking scheme at Bama.
