Every sports show I'm watching today has more to say about yesterdays game about the Bears than about the Dolphins.

I think we gave the Bears more exposure than they had before and decreased our teams exposure by double.

People talked more about Miami when they were losing. Now we win and they just talk about how bad the team we played was to have lost to a pathetic team like Miami.

Miami played the respect card against the biggest odds and won.

So where's the respect?

Miami won't be respected until they have a better record than the Patriots after week 17. So it looks like Miami wont be getting any respect this year NO MATTER WHO WE BEAT.

Sucks, but true. My pride swelled. But the respect we got from the rest of the league only made a splinter in their enormous thoughts of how horrible we are.

The 2006 Miami Dolphins Highlights by NFL films will be titled "Shades of greatness: The story of the 2006 Miami Dolphins."

I can live with that. This week gave me all the proof i need to know that Saban is the right coach for us. He just needs more time until he can get things like this on a weekly basis. Future lookin good about now.

God, I'm proud to be a PhinFan.

The Bears were exposed by the Cards.......that was the Cards game to lose and they shot themselves in the foot....I am rethinking my SB picks now.

And then we have the Steelers who in essence are the Raiders from a few years ago, the year after they went to the super bowl.

I cant decifer if that pic in your avatar is a pissed off version of Dan Marino or a child molester version of David Hasslehoffe.

It's gonna take alot more that a 2-6 record and 1 good win against a quality opponent to "earn" respect. And frankly I want to see this against the Chiefs next week and then the following week before I can say we're working on something here. It was deja vu all over again for me watching the Fins destroy the big bad bears again though!

The media obviously has decided that Bears losing is a bigger story than the Dolphins winning. And I agree.

I thought Dan Marino and David Hasselhoff were the same person? I guess you learn something new every day.

I actually was about to post this same thread, which would have gotten merged, so you beat me to the punch.

Every single show on ESPN (Cold Pizza, Around the Horn, NFL Live, etc.) as well as ESPNews and NFL Network has had Bears as the subject and not the Fins. What a lack of respect. I honestly thought that the season was over because I was chalking up a loss and a 1-7 record. 2-6 is way different. 9-7 and even 8-8 can make the playoffs sometimes. We'll see what happens.
