I think Parker is gonna win a lot of match ups vs Jones if he keeps his aggressive mentality. I don't see Jones style of play ( 0 ints!) being able to stop Parker.

Thoughts?

Jones doesn't have a lot of picks but he doesn't allow a lot of receptions either. He's also been working in practice ( I posted this) on trying to high point the ball so he can begin making a lot more ints. Like Finzer said, they SHOULD make each other better. We're all hoping the first 4 years of DP were a mirage and he'll keep performing as he did the back half of 2019...

Always interested in our rookies and if you can't keep them out the starting lineup ... wishful thinking but I always hope.

Parker's confidence if not already there, is reaching OFF THE ROOF status.

Jones on the other hand has been quoted to say he will be more aggressive to get turnovers this year. Makes me also wonder if the Cowboys were asking him to 1st and formost, make sure receivers did not make plays on him.

Both Parker and Jones are jacked up and expecting to be even better then last year, and while facing each other...I believe they will be.

The main event matchup
The receivers vs. defensive backs battle provided the most intriguing, repeated matchup of the day.
DeVante Parker and Byron Jones went head-to-head on three occasions in one-on-one coverage. All three reps were tightly contested by both with the Pro Bowl potential of each player on display. Jones scored a pair of wins but Parker got the best of Jones on the third with a slick corner route that was laid in perfectly by Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Jones should always have the tremendous advantage, because DVP is 100% dependent on a QB to execute each play.

If DVP had an upper echelon QB throwing to him, I think any 1 on 1 matchup between him and Jones would look quite different.
