One of the best things that can happen in the Tampa game is for RB to tear up the Buffalo Bills the week before. If Ronnie can improve on what he did in the Carolina game, this will really have Tampa reeling for the matchup the next week. If Ronnie is successful, then Tampa will have to game plan for both Ricky and Ronnie. Ricky already has respect around the league, but Ronnie is still earning his. If he proves two games in a row that he deserves a lot of attention, then when the 2 of them are in the game at the same time, this will give Tampa multiply ppl to target, especially when Ronnie and Ricky and Mcmicheal and Chambers and Booker are lined up at the same time. Who do you pick as your poison? Now all of this is contingent on the OL continuing it's growth and improvement and no injuries during the Bill's game.

If Ronnie is good in the Bills game, we could have one of our most potent offenses in a long time this Tampa game. It would be great if Ricky rips one for a long gain on his first carry in the Tampa game, and if, Ronnie coming off a good game in Bill's country get in there with him, can you see the eyes and brains of Tampa's D buring out trying to figure out who to clue in on, all the while setting up our passing game.

I'm hoping our O proves me correct in that game, it will be exciting if they do.

The best plot for the Tampa game is to remember that there is a Buffalo game first...

That's why it's important for Ronnie to have a good game at the Bills. we have to beat them convincingly for this to work.

I'm not seeing the link.

Things are so different week-2-week in the NFL I'm not sure
this idea carries much weight. But what do I know??

If Ronnie plays like a burst, then you don't put to much weight to stopping him, you focus on the rest of our threats, but if Ronnie is causing D corr. to take a lot of time to focus on him, then it leaves your other options open. Ricky has a rep in this league when it comes to playing football, so when he's in, Tampa will automatically focus in on him, but if you have Ronnie, who also requires a lot of attention in the back with Ricky, then you can't focus only on one, if our Backfield is recieving a lot of attention, like 8 men in the box and stuff like that, or the safeties have to play up to help with run support, then that opens your passing game. It's basic football 101..if our backfield forces Tampa to concentrate on it, then our WR's should have a good day, if our WR's start making plays and their D has to adjust, then our Running game with 2 backs is on display, not too many teams can boost of skill players like that.

success against buffalo or not they better gameplan for RB or they will be in for a big surprise....

I will worry about Tampa after the Bills game. Gotta focus on the Bills now.

No doubt the Bills is the immediate concern, I'm just looking down the line as are the coaches this week in prep for the next couple of games. Next week my posts will center around buffalo. This week we have no opponent, so we can strait a little on conversation, don't you think? :D

You forgot something that would put icing on the cake. The defense holds Cadillac to 37 yards rushing on 21 carries.

I really don't care who gets more yards: Cadillac or the Hummer. The bottomline is the Dolphins win. Ronnie or Ricky or Cadillac individual stats don't mean much. I'd rather Ronnie or Ricky keep moving chains and getting big first downs leading to a win.

Wonderl33t, I love your sig man. Those are by far the funniest freaking comercials I have ever seen. I don't know how I kept the beer in my mouth the first time I saw "The King" doing the Primetime shuffle

On a side note, I'm still not used to seeing Ronnie as "RB". I keep saying, of course they have to plan for RB, every team has to plan for the other teams RB. Until a second later when I realize, it's my man "Downtown Ronnie Brown". How bout we call him DRB from now on?

It's not so much about stats in the Tampa game as it is in the Bill's game, basically the Bill's game running wise for Ronnie, set's up the possibilities in the Tampa game. As we play each game, it's a chess match to set up the next game. Right now no one has a lot of footage of Ricky and Ronnie in the Backfield except for preseason games, which I'm sure were very vanilla. Ronnie's ability to be a great threat keeps this backfield tantum very dangerous for the rest of the season.
