Over the past decade plus is confidence and its showing on a talented "on paper" team. This year outside of the recent storyline we came out of the gates fast this year...beat a now 4-5 browns team and a now 6-3 division leader follow that with a great comeback win on a tough but disappointing falcons squad. Enter the Monday night game where we were hanging w the saints in the dome up until the drive stalling horrible running play on 3rd and an inch (gosh I was happy 4 games later Sherman actually used a QB sneak) SNEAK IT... Anyway after that we were never the same that game, leading to a blowout.

Good young teams can shake those off and come back next week (like a good QB after a pick, shirt memory, confidence). We constantly drag out slumps, ie lost a winnable game to Balt, a terrible game to buffalo, blows lead at the pats and then an 0-8 team.

confidence is a key ingredient to being a solid squad, so where does this confidence we are missing come from??? Is it the coaching staff, is it the players... Why for a decade plus can't we right this ship???

i grew up watching Marino and despite the disappointment of never winning the big game, we were in the playoffs and a feared team for the entire season every year...why why why can these other teams "rebuild" they make runs within a few years and we can't do it in over a decade...how would you fix it?

I would say it seems like the team lacks passion or fire for the game. They don't have that spark or energy. They screw up a play and you don't see anyone getting in faces and yelling to get with the program. Show some emotion out there fellas.

The team lacks the ability to score points. 4 - 1 TO advantage 13 offensive points is all you need to know. We have no offense.

A Quarterback that can lead this team to victory. Hell, Andrew Luck was able to turn around a 2-14 team to 11-5 in his rookie season.

Well you know what they say, the team takes the personality of their coach. Our coach is devoid of any personality and emotion.

Leadership! Every single problem goes back to a ****ty leadership!

Failure to bring in talent when available, lack of a great head coach that still has passion for the game, lack of leadership..have kept this franchise mired in mediocrity for a long time...when will it end.

We're cursed. That has to be it. How else can you explain the ****ty GMs the team has had? Ginn Jr, Pat White, Eddie Moore, Jamar Fletcher, Chad Henne, Phillip Merling?

Its because of the perfect season. Shula made a deal with the fates: perfect season at the price of 100 years of mediocrity. Our 100 years are far from paid.

The thing this team lacks is a killer instinct...again absolutely no identity much like Philbin. Other teams know we will choke in crunch time and pour the pressure on. We need some leadership from somewhere on the team...coaching...players...mascot...someone that acts like they care when they lose. Does anyone think a coach like Cowher would put up with this crap??

I just figure someone has to break it.

It's not even just the picks, its every call, freak play or anything that makes you say WTF its way too common
