Even though I'm starting another one, this isn't based on why games get blacked out, but more about where these fans get off complaining about it....

Games get blacked out every season, and ever season we have these fans coming here complaining about them not being able to see the games on TV....

They cry about how pathetic our fan base is down here, yet do nothing to contribute to the cause. Should these fans be saying anything??? Afterall, they aren't doing anything to help the cause by waiting for someone else to buy up the remaining seats. I think the season ticket holders, or the fans who show up on a weekly basis should be the one's complaining about the black-outs....

How many times have these arm chair fans, who sit on their couches, ever thanked us, the fans who buy the tickets, for the blackouts being lifted???....ANSWER : NEVER.

I'm sick if these fans complaining. They shouldn't even be allowed to comment on the subject as far as I'm concerned. It's easy, either you pay for a ticket and get your *** to the game, or you don't get to watch it. If that bothers you, too bad. That's why they black the games out in the first place, to get the fans to get off their couches and go.....

I know I'm venting, but there's really nobody to blame for the games being blacked out other than the fans who choose not to go. If you live within driving distance, and don't show, blame yourself. Not the fans who do their part to keep it from happening....

You can merge this thread if you want. I also want to apologize to some of the fans I may have insulted here today regarding this subject. I just can't stand it when fans who are capable of going choose not to simply because they want to to sit at home instead....

PHINZ RULE!!!

well said and I agree. the last person who should be complaining about a blackout is someone who has done nothing to prevent it to begin with.

I don't think anyone has blamed the season ticket holders. You all are the self-righteous ones who are calling everyone else pathetic.

ticket prices are obsurd, the florida heat is disgusting, and dade county isn't a place i'd like to put myself ever.

you're not helping anyone in this thread.

I absolutely agree. If fans can't sell out a stadium in order to get the blackout lifted, they don't deserve to have it lifted. Here in Canada the CFL games are blacked out either way, and it only gets lifted if the network chooses to lift it. We've had plenty of sellout games that are still blacked out. THEN I could see a reason to complain, but if the game isn't sold out - tough luck. Turn on the radio.

so if the team were to buy up the remaining tickets, to lift the blackout.... who would they pay the money to???

but if i lived anywhere near Ralph Wilson stadium (the bills stadium) i would go to atleast a few games, even if i couldnt really aford it. (which i cant... :( ). but thats what i get for living in NC  .

Dolphins ticket prices are constantly some of the lowest priced tickets in all of the NFL.

nothing i said merited your statement. all my points are opinions based on what i think about tickets, the heat, and dade county. hence, you're the ignorant fool.
what you said just made you a fairweathered fan which the thread is complaining about. You won't see bills fans complaining about the snow blizzard ,tickets prices and buffalo being close to Canada

you did mispell absurd. I laughed at his comment, because of this.

The first post was very, very well articulated. We South Floridians have many
choices for our leisure time. I feel much worse for the Marlins than the Dolphins.

I'll be at the game on Sunday. Me and 3 others, with my 4 season tickets, cheering our ***** off. Sometimes we do leave early when getting beat though. I'm the first to admit there are much more hard-core (better if you will) fans than me. I salute them.

We all a free to spend what we want or not. We are all free to say what we want or
not. That's what so great. I love this country and this forum for it.
