Ryan Tannehill's shoulder continues to be a mystery. If he can't get back on the field, there's no way Miami goes back into 2019 with him as the primary plan. That means Miami has to scour a really underwhelming crop of available quarterbacks.

Fortunately, they have a hand up on the top one available. The breadcrumbs lead us down a path to a free agent signing, who might have some really good football ahead of him.

That was a horrid injury Teddy suffered. I wonder how his mobility is. I don't think he is a long term answer but may be a bridge to drafting our next QB

Are any qbs coming out worth anything? I keep hearing terrible things about the qbs in this upcoming class

fighting w each other on here is waste of time. front office must find qb dt, cb add og next yr. we are not going to superbowl no time soon so it importance. we need get this right for future.

the problem will be how much does he wants......getting rid of Tannehill will cost 13 mill on dead money. Add another 13 mill for Suh and our cap takes a big hit with those two so how much could we afford. Unless he gives us a home discount it won't be easy but I'd look into it for sure.

Leave it to Miami to be in the market for a quarterback in such a down year draft-wise. I do think the latest injury to Ryan Tannehill, and how it was communicated to Adam Gase, has sealed his fate with the team and, I believe, the organization will move on from him.

Some of the quarterbacks who could be available in trade or free agency include Nick Foles, Teddy Bridgewater, Derrick Carr, Jameston Winston, Sam Bradford etc. Foles will likely cost a couple of high draft picks, Carr maybe a #2, Bradford perhaps a mid-rounder. Not an overly inspiring group. I actually think Bradford is a quality quarterback, but he can't stay healthy.

In the draft, there could be some surprise quarterbacks. That always seems to be the case. The New York Giants and Oakland Raiders are two teams vying for the #1 spot who both probably would like a quarterback. I'm not sure how Jon Gruden feels about Carr but, like Tannehill, he hasn't taken that next step.

At best, Miami would probably have a shot at the #2 rated quarterback in the draft. Could be Will Grier or Ryan Finley. Neither looks like a first rounder to me, but both have some talents to work with. Grier has a bit of a gunslinger mentality and throws a nice deep ball. He does throw his share of interceptions. Finley is a good athlete, maybe a shade below Tannehil in that regard, avoids the rush pretty well and can make plays on the move. He has nice size at about 6-4. His arm is functional, more Tom Brady than John Elway. At least that is my take on the two.

I'd love for them to take a flyer on Teddy but why would he commit to this dumpster fire?

There's no guarantee Gase is here longterm and who knows what Ross does with the FO. Teddy is going to have a lot of good options and the Dolphins will not be on top of the list.

We'll be looking at guys like Fitzpatrick, Tyrod Taylor, Hundley, Winston, Bradford, Fales, Falk, Osweiler, Tannehill, Eli, Bortles.

The list is not pretty. If Ross had a clue he'd demand his FO gut the team in the off season, and build towards 2020.

If we got him he will be a cripple, if it's someone else, pro bowler. Our luck

No one who complains about Tannehill's injury can defend signing Bridgewater. I'm not against it, but isn't he already signed somewhere? Don't know if it's one year or not, and if he's the projected starter long-term, that's not a likely possibility.

Yeah that was my first through also. That knee massacre was absolutely horrid, but wait until he becomes a Dolphin. You ain't seen nothing yet.

he's a free agent after this year.
