The start of the CFL's second season begins on Labour Day, days after the first NFL cuts, this is when the real contenders are built for the GREY CUP...

When all the guys who left for CFL try outs get cut and try to get their old jobs back from last year. Good luck as a lot of the salary cap was already spent...

The CFL is proud to be home to these stalwarts - Pat White, Brandon London, Nic Grigsby, Stefan Logan, that RB who we brought in from Houston STEVE SLATON played in Toronto this year, and Kory Sheets a stand out in the CFL last year will be back in a just a few short days -

This is just a handful of former Fins in CDA this year

I forgot JEFF FULLER is in Calgary starting at WR... when he isn't hurt

Don't they have to waste some spots by allocating a percentage of the total roster for often less-qualified Canucks?

Interesting that Tebow wasn't prepared to go to the CFL to resurrect his career but Cam Wake did.

Yes we have to endure (painfully)
:(
This is moronic but the league is "Canadian" because each team has to dress a certain number of locals - in fact CDNs of lesser skill get paid better, as American RBs CBs and Dline and WRS are so easy to find

Tebow doesn't have the canon that a QB in the CFL must have, let alone the pass precision, being elusive i just not enough

BTW Pat White is still very much the SMURF up here - he aint foolin anyone

He still is prone to the fumble on a QB sneak

Tebow has much greater financial flexibility and also had had some success in the NFL. totally different scenarios.

maybe but it is called the Canadian football league so they might want to employ some Canadians. Maybe they should lessen the restrictions. The CFL has been hurt by no longer being able to compete with the NFL for talent. They now just get the leftovers, which are still pretty damn good.
Gone are the days when the CFL could snag some of the top NCAA talent. I personally wish hey would go more American with the rules. I hate the 3 down rule, hurts the running game.
