Some of you really dont understand football, and thats why some of you have posted idiotic things like "bench wilson", "cut crowder", "taylors finished", "porters finished"....such dumb things.

A secondary is much like an offensive line, they need time to gel and get comfortable with each other. Vontae Davis, Sean Smith, and Gibril Wilson are all new to the secondary and its going to take time for them to gel with bell and allen. Give them some time before asking for their heads.

Jason Taylor is NOT finished, on several plays last night he was right in the middle of the action and he got close to manning a couple of times. He also got a sack the first week against the falcons, the mans still got plenty of gas.

Joey Porter isnt even close to being finished, teams are double teaming him on pass plays and therefore he is helping other guys to get good pressure.

Crowder and Ayodele had rough games last night in pass coverage, but we already knew that crowder sucks in pass coverage, he has his job because hes a beast in stopping the run.

In a couple weeks, this team will start to truly gel, both offensively and defensively, and with another good off-season, we will be a force to be reckoned with.
 
Wilson had a horrible game. Had a horrible game last week. And had a horrible preseason. he doesn't deserve to be starting.

Then one question I have.. Colts get the ball with 3:55 remaining. Why is our secondary play off so far, when their only possession in the 3rd we played press and gave them nothing?

Don't get it. It's like they went into prevent. Prevent yourself from winning.

because when you go press coverage, you take the risk of getting beat deep espicially with rookie corners liek smith and davis. So were up 3 with 3 minutes to go, we cant afford to get beat deep so we play off a little and let them get the passes underneath and keep the clock moving.
 
another good offseason? when have they had a good offseason?
even if they were able to bring in a few quality players on defense next year.
porter, taylor, ferguson, allen etc.. are all going to fall off dramatically if they haven't already.
so the defense will still suck..

when have they had a good offseason? mmmmm i dont know, i guess they just magically took a 1-15 team and didnt change it at all and then just won 11 games......are some of you like completely clueless?
 
Wilson still needs to go and I'm still waiting for Crowder to make a play.
 
okay we'll see what u say when this team is 5-11 at the end of the year..
the team won 1 game because of all the injuries in 07
last season all the stars aligned in every way.. bounces, calls, schedule, injuries or lack of and the team won 11 games. they obviously overacheived and they showed they didn't belong when they were embarrassed in the 1st rd of the playoffs on their home field..

now basically that same team is back, and everyone is having fantasies about a super bowl run. well this team has 5 or 6 win talent and it's going to show this year.. reality is about to hit hard.

1. your just a troll trying to piss us off
2. you didnt watch any games last year and youve been talking to jets fans to much
3. your just a complete moron that should not be posting on this board.....
