For what it is worth, I think the dolphins made some good moves in the draft and especially with the coaching change. I see them as very very similar to the Bills this season.

The real questions for both teams are:

1. Can the Offensive line improve and be effective. While each team has questions at different positions, the line as a whole is overall the most critical part of a team. Bad line = bad team no matter how much talent, Good line = team looking better than it is..

2. Can the young qb lead the team. Neither qb will have to dominate a game. Neither qb will have to be Dan Marino or Jim Kelly.. they will simply have to be good enough to not lose the game and make a couple key plays throughout every game. They must also keep the mistakes to a minimum.

3. Can the running game dominate people? Both teams will need their run game to be the focus of the offense, due to questions at the qb/line positions. Both teams have talented enough backfields to dominate, Imho.

Both defenses are good. I think the Bills is better obviously, but I dont think they are an elite defense yet, despite their #2 ranking last season. Elite to me is when you always stop the other team when you need to, and the Bills couldnt do that against Pittsburg in the final game of the season to go to the playoffs.. The Dophins defense is always good, at a minimum. I think Saban might improve it by letting your guys attack more, which was always the problem in my opinion.

Good Post....I think we are closer as a team to the Bills LAST year with the exeption of the QB situation... I also think this season for us will be a lot like the Bills last year.

I think I posted that in a topic couple a weeks ago, some Bills fan said I was stupid and wrong!

I can't believe it. I'm speechless.

Justasportsfan has over 12 thousand posts on this board, and you just said more in this one than he has in his whole 12 thousand.

Good post.

i don't think our defense is quite like theres. they underacheive at spots where as we don't. and we underacheived where they didn't. But offensively, yeah, pretty damn similar.

good reply to an excellent post

i agree with this thread completely
and it goes even further if you look at how both teams are biting their nails over the LT and DT positions specifically.

I enjoy your post and voice of reason Tatonka. It is always fun to take a jab at the opposition from time to time, but I don't see you doing much of that unless provoked. Good post.

BTW, Nice looking Lad.
