The Dolphins are on the clock.....

We should be close to 20 mil under to be honest with you but we need to get a QB like David Greene or Kyle Orton and draft that DT from Wiscosin and as far as Ol the LT winston from Miami and the LT from FSU both are 1st rounders. The RB class is more than 10 deep.Williams-Auburn,Benson-Texas,Harris-WVU,
Arrington-Cal,Moats-LTU,Fason-UF,Davis-Wisconsin,Sproles-KSU,Weaks-UVA,
Brown-Auburn and there is more out there so we could get quality after the 1st round cause how many teams in the league will be going RB with their 1st pick?
Erasmus James from Wisconsin is top on my DT list.
Benson on top of my RB list.
Orton on top of my QB list.

FA Olineman, NO MORE ROOKIES ON THE OLINE! We cant judge rookie Oline talent. Smith and Carey SUCK.

I don't see RB as a big need.
QB,OL,OL,OL,OL,OL,OL,DT

The only Ol worthy of taking on the 1st day are Barrow from FSU,Winston from Miami, and Munoz from Tenessee.

This is not a deep draft for OL,FA will be better served like Jones or Pace!

Jamaal Brown Oklahoma 6'6" 305
Alex Barron Florida St. 6'6" 315
Wesley Britt Alabama 6'8" 313
Rob Petitti Pittsburgh 6'6" 330

I heard Brown gets pushed around alot and none of those other guys besides Barrow is worth a first day pick!

It appears that things will not get better anytime soon for our Fins. If we do have the overall draft pick do you take a skilled position player and address OL in free agency or vice versus.
THE MIAMI DOLPHINS SELECT "MIKE WILLIAMS"

Well, it's a bit early [a week or so anyway, :) ] to be discussing this but, IMO, second thing to do in the off season is to start trading some of the older guys on D for alot of picks that the current FO has flubbed away so the new FO, which is the first thing, can start rebuilding from the ground up again. take the cap hits necessary, whatever. This will be the year to do it since we're undoubtedly shooting for the best draft position in some time.
But to make a long story short, just clean house and strt over.

Yea, and a RB, and a DT...it's scary what we need.

YUP!! We're no longer "closer than you think" !! A player or 2 won't make matters any better.................

Most of those guy are rated higher than Munoz.

I heard Mike Mayock list his top 5 at this point and none of those guys except for Munoz were on there and he said Brown got pushed around alot and that whole Oline of OU are finesse players who are overrated.

Love it to be a QB

However, if this isn't a great year for the draft I'd prefer to miss it this year and miss out on the Akili Smith type pick and a year later pick up the Eli Manning type player (if that's the way it looks like going).

I don't get the mentatlity of this front office though I have tried to stay with them throughout a difficult offseason. QB is the most important spot on the roster, no question. Many say backup QB is the second most important and this has been paid lip service by Wanny himself. Yet we aspire to our no. 1 QB just being adequate. What kind of cr@p is that? Even if Feeley grows throughout the remainder of the season I still think the first pick should be a quality QB to give him a couple of years to get up to speed.

FA needs to sort out the O-Line issues. Give whoever is the RB/QB next season a shot at living through the 16 games.

But please, let's at least aspire to greatness at the QB position. Thanks for lending me your soap box.
