im not talking pamela anderson, she has nothing on the dolphins. god, looking at this roster we have a stud at qb, prolly some of the best recievers in the league. a huge o line. a scary defense, good and always improving special teams, not to mention ronnie, and sammy behind cpep. what are the other teams going to be thinking when they line up against us? how daunte is recovering is a miracle, john clayton said it the best, this season is going to be great. im already pumped and its only JUNE AHH...watch out for the dolphins, they aren't learning anything this year about their team. they are going to be teaching the other teams how to play football

I'm excited about our talent too.
However, remember, our new QBs are playing their 1st year with us, and there'll be some transition time. Also, C-pep's knee could experience swelling during the season. Our DB's are new (mostly) and may take some time to gel also.

But I'm very excited.

Exactly, while I'm optimistic, the gelling is thing I know takes time, and may cost us a couple of 1st half of the season games.

Like Woody Paige says... "look at the schedule!!!" Outside of the opener at PITT, we have a pretty easy opening sched.

There's not so much of a learning curve with Daunte. He already is familiar with this system. It's the one he thrived in, in Minnesota. Learning these receivers, is the only thing he will need to do. He's more ready than any other new QB would be. (Not counting the knee, of course.)

NO NFL game is easy and especially if the team's not gelling yet..look at NE a couple of seasons ago losing to us when we went 4-12.. Until this team gets in sync, no games should be taken for granted.

I'm excited about this season's possibilities, and i'm completely GIDDY over next season. I know, I know, let's play this season first, and as I said, Ithink the playoff's are a real possibility and probablity, But next year I see an AFC Championship type of team in South Florida. I think this season is going to be more of a preview of what's to come than last year was.

I love the talent on our team too but I just hate bandwagon riders.

Exactly. Look at McNair over at Baltimore. He said he's a little overwhelmed because he has to learn a whole new playbook and system.

You never know how easy a schedule is until the games start.

Love the enthusiasm! I mostly agree with you.

Right on. Absolutely. Culpepper has a gun for an arm. He's a leader. And he's gonna be playing with a chip on his shoulder this season. Remember Ricky (cough cough) Williams's first season with us? Chip. Shoulder. It's a good thing.

prolly some of the best recievers in the league.

One of the best receivers in the league. Hagan hasn't played a down. Booker and Welker are never at the top of anybody's fantasy team draft.

If, by huge, you mean a work in progress and the weakest part of our team...

a scary defense

No doubt. They are going to be ferocious.

Our special teams are way better than good. Welker may not be a threat to return a kick all the way, but he has a great return average. Also, we have plenty of depth, and we play virtually mistake-free. And Mare and Jones are better than most at their position. There a few who are better. But not many.

Ronnie is going to have a monster year. And I love Sammy. He's a third down machine. But I doubt you'll find many non-Miami football fans who know he is.

They're going to be crapping their pants.

They ARE going to be learning about their team. But they are also going to be schooling their opponents as well.

I think that was have a very good chance at gatting to the playoffs this year and maybe going all the way.
