The Dolphins are the talk of the Pro-Sports World.

Yeah, clearly it's the owner's fault for trying to replace a bad coach. Clearly. If only we had supported Tony Sparano more, guys. This team that quit on him with three weeks to go last season would have played REAL hard for him. Real hard.

Nobody said trying to replace the coach was bad. Trying to replace the coach like a moron WAS bad.

Lol Rob Ryan. Okay, stop right there.

Rob Ryan has the Cowboys turned into a top 5 defense, and is the only guy to have held the Patriots under 30 points in a long time (twice now actually). I'm not saying he'd have made a great head coach, but he's leaps and bounds better than Vanilla Mike Nolan, who sucks and Tony Sparano who again was REALIZED BY ROSS HIMSELF AS A FAILURE!

Fact:
- Ross evaluated Sparano, didn't think he was good enough searched for other coaches.

Fact:
- Ross kept the guy he didn't think was good enough.

It's laughable.

You are being very short sighted here Space.
The lockout threatened offseason eliminated any chance that there was going to be a decent candidate here in Miami.
Nobody was going to take this team over during a lockout shortened offseason and work with a truncated camp
The only one that Ross was going to get during the lockout was some second tier candidate.

You cannot consider Munchak a new hire the man had been in the (Titans)organization for 16 years.
Jackson was the OC of the Raiders.
That allowed some degree of continuity

This team needs a TOTAL reboot not some bandaid.
So what if Rob Ryans schemes would have picked up a few wins.
Do you honestly think he is ready to take on the role of HC of Miami with it's rotten structure from top to bottom. It would have simply kicked the can down the road a few more years.
You cannot compare Miami to a Pittsburgh or Baltimore where unknowns took over. They are class organizations top to bottom with strong management.

This needs a total overhaul.
Guess What Ross GETS THAT!
You don't.

Ross does not get the fact that this team needs total overhaul evidenced by the fact that he did not give this team total overhaul after TWO straight losing seasons. You are wrong.

Although I'll give you the continuity points on Jackson staying Oakland, Munchak staying in Ten. We've tried Chan Gailey here so he wouldn't have worked. We could have gone with a guy like Jeff Fisher but i'm not even a huge fan of him so i'd be being a hypocrite.

But when you DEEM you head coach unfit, and keep him, that exemplifies cluelessness.

And it's going to spill over further when he keeps Jeff Ireland, the other moron.

Ross' biggest mistake was that he should have fired Sporano before going to look for another coach. Let it be made known loud and clear to the players that you don't perform, you are out of here. We'll find someone to replace you, even if they are worse, but we won't put up with you.

Our seasons were definitely losing seasons, but a complete and total disaster 7-9 is not.

I bet you had Fisher been canned earlier in the offseason then we would have taken a long hard look at him.
As I recall he got fired well after our Harbaugh drama. So it was a nonstarter with him.

So let me get this straight your plan would have been to fire your GM and Coach during a lockout.
Do you think anyone good would have taken the job? How do plan on your new GM to prepare for the draft if he cannot even talk to his own roster!

Everything is setting up for a total rebuild.
Ross tried to get his guy in the offseason, Harbaugh who looks on early evidence as one of those top notch coaches. More power to him
Cowher and Gruden were never going to take this team over last year because of the lockout. Period. They are not that dumb.
After those efforts failed he went with the only plan be he had.
Stick with Sparano/Ireland.
Cut their budget since there is no use adding fuel to this dumpster fire.
Veto future killing trades such as Orton.

Take your licks this season. Hand the keys to a trained professional in the offseason.
Draft your franchise QB Luck, Jones or Barkley and start over.
Dolphins will be flush with cap space and new ideas.

No intrim coach is going to get this team 3-4 wins. You fire Sparano because you TRIED TO FIRE HIM IN THE OFF-SEASON AND NOW YOUR TEAM IS WORSE. To me THAT would say, alright fans, we here your frustration, this has been a bad year, here is your coach on a silver platter - the man we hold accountable for this. Every game Sparano coaches is a bigger insult to the fans.

I don't think it's a big deal. The fans know all about Andrew Luck, majority of fans want the #1 pick. The games will be blacked out and nobody will be watching anyway, the Phins will be irrelevant until they sign their new coach in the offseason and IF the Fins get the top pick, fans will be too busy talking about drafting Luck than anything else.

No offense to anyone here, but Ross doesn't give a rats rear what we think. At this point, I'm sure its a tax right off for him.

I used to hate when we were struggling and the media ripped and made fun of us. Now? I welcome it. We are a joke and I want everyone responsible, mostly Sparano and the players, to squirm and feel the embarrassment.

Yup. They deserve the ridicule.
