Its already too obvious that the dolphins secondary is horrible and next offseason they must hire lots of talented players if they ever plan on making it to the playoffs.

Too easy a target to be facetious....so, I will be nice and just say, "Yes, we know that."

It is being rebuilt. The fact that guys like JT and Zach are no longer here is proof of that. Merling and Langford were drafted and are playing significantly. Starks is 24 and has alot of upside. The secondary will probably be addressed in the draft and thru free agency. The rebuilding process for the whole team has already started. Its gonna take a couple more drafts to solidify it.

Seriously? man, thanks for letting me in on that. are the threads always this terrible after games? wow. just wow.

The Defense started getting rebuilt this past offseason. Old guys past their prime were shipped out(Zach Thomas, Jason Taylor) and new young guys were brought in to build around. Year one of the Parcells/Sparano/Ireland regime was to fortify the lines and then build out. They did that on both sides of the ball. Langford, Merling, Starks were great young pickups that will be the foundation of the new defense.

Over the next two offseasons, they will continue to build the defense with the focus being the linebackers and the secondary.
