And we didnt even know it.. Chris Chambers, Wes Welker, Donald Lee.. All playing in Championship game today, and all have been major contributors to their teams success and passing game.

As so many of us have stated again and again, it wasnt our receivers, it was our QB(s)!!!

I just hope Beck IS that QB... If not, I hope we get THAT QB this offseason somehow..

Donald Lee was god awful with this team. He was better known for his drops and false starts than anything else here. Glad to see he got himself together a little bit...but he is far from an elite TE in this league. I always wish ex-phins luck when they go to other teams.

our wr's corps needs to be addressed thru free agencey or draft....i love that kidd from oklahoma and berrian from the bears is not bad either

Elite somewhere else but a little above average here. It was due to the culture and the fact that we had an aweful line and no QB to throw them the ball.

imagine, john beck taking the snap with ronnie brown in the backfield along with LOBOOK goin out in the flat, Chambers runs a deep out, ginn runs the the post while welker goes underneath out of the slot.

That is a young versatile offense, an offense that i would be completely stoked for in 2008, oh, i'am sorry, that will not be the case.

NICE FRONT OFFICE BUDDY!

Brett Favre, Tom Brady, and Phillip Rivers......

Jay Fiedler, AJ Feely, Joey Harrington, Cleo Lemon...

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this one out.......

i think people get solid TE play from Lee too mixed up with eliteness. He made some good plays at TE here, but he fumbled a lot, and had a lot of false starts here. Though, Saban never gave him a fair shake (pretty much wanted 1 recieving TE, one blocking TE. Thus we had Lorenzo Diamond,Will Heller, and Justin Peele).

i have to agree that o-line and qb's have been the problem for a while but, it was also our o-coordinator/coaching descisions on playcalling. we rarely used our recievers correctly.
remember when mcdrops was here but most of the time he was having to stay in and help block? and when we got a decent(for us) qb in ferrote and chambers made the pro bowl? well it wasn't because our o-line had "picked it up"..we just happened to have a qb with excellent footwork and smarts to avoid the rushes thus making it seem our line was better than what it was.

even last year..look at the difference from when ronnie was in then out..ronnie made our line seem better than it was. we still need to look at our line as a major issue for the draft and fa..this has been pushed aside far too long. stop gaps can only take you so far and now our d-line has caught up with our o-line.

In reality... an "elite" corp of recievers is not necissary to win at the highest level... in fact it's probably not even in the top 5 things you have to have to win championships...

Much to do about nothing....

and without Satele the OL collapses, the DT gets by and Ronnie tries to pick up the block and re-injures his ACL doing so, then grabs Beck throws him to the ground tearing his labrum in his shoulder.

Donald Lee was beyond atrocious here. We all agreed. So no need to go after the FO for that one. We got excellent value for both Chris and Wes. And, as its been repeated thousands of times, Wes wouldnt be that guy here.

No regrets from me.
