The Dolphins have NFL's best sack duo

Career wise...but in the NFL right now. That honor goes to James Harrison and Lamar Woodley in Pittsburgh.

Combined age 67.. Hope they are everything we expect them to be but they will be 35 and 32 this year. That would be some story for JT if we win it all this year.I hope they use all different set ups with the front 7. I wonder if Wake will be a big contributer.

 The article was about active players and their numbers..not season by season..

The way I see it, Taylor isnt going to have as many sacks as he did years prior bc he wont be an every down guy. But just the threat of him being there means teams cant just scheme to stop JP....He makes the offense account for 2 guys instead of just 1, which will benefit both of them.

We likely would have topped the list in '05 and '06 too with JT and Kevin Carter.

completely agree, theyve had nice careers, but the nfl is all about season by season.

though i must say i chuckled when i saw:

"Miami - Jason Taylor (120.5) & Joey Porter (83) = 203.5
New England – Richard Seymour (39) & Adalius Thomas (50) = 89"

thats what you call a asswhooping.

Isn't Trevor Pryce still on Baltimore?

If he is, they have the 2nd best sack duo: Pryce 83.5, Suggs 53 = 136.5

Also, Cleveland is completely missing from the list, but should be 6th with McGinest and Shaun Rogers (119 total)

...and Colvin is still on the Patriots roster, he has more sacks than Seymour.

Eagles have Darren Howard, who has more sacks than J.Parker who he included...

Poor research by Omar (or poor job explaining what his criteria was)

McGinest is presently unsigned...he's still a FA.

Took the words out of my mouth.
