The Dolphins must stick with RB Ronnie Brown, even if the ground game isn't reeling off big chunks of yardage. This is his 3rd game with 20+ run attempts. And out of those 3 we won 2 of them.
Hats off to our defense who played with the smell of blood in their nostrils! Did anyone notice that we were knocking the "C"s off the Bears helmets?!? Last thing, I don't feel the Colts will go undefeated. We play them our last game of the season and if the are undefeated at that point what a game that will be! Imagine that, Dolphins beat 2 undefeated teams (from November on) to protect our PERFECT SEASON!!
:D :dolphins: :dolphins:

I thought when Ronnie just LEVELED that safety at the end of one of his long runs was freakin' AWESOME. The commentator said Ronnie "added insult to injury". It reminded me of a video I saw last month of a soldier in Iraq head butting a wild ram.

Does anyone doubt that Ronnie is a BEAST anymore? Ronnie is a LOAD to bring down and he has plenty of speed and moves to rack up the big yards once he gets in the open field. DBs in the NFL better look out. Ronnie's gonna put a bunch of them in ice packs and in the hot tub for a few days if they try to take tackle him one on one. He shook off a wicked hit to the helmet from Urlacher late in the game and Urlacher ended up getting hurt somehow.

UMMM yes one game and you call him a beast  the guy ran hard i got to give it to him but he must have these games more often.

Ronnie is a beast, and he is going to be excellent for us as long as the OL gives him some holes like they did yesterday.

Finally

Finally , I was pretty skeptical at the beginning of the season about Ronnie and what kind of running back he would be. Despite what so many on this site have said about him. I think he has the potential to be a TOP 5 runner in this league. He more than justifies his draft choice. If these people that dog him on a weekly basis actually saw HOW he ran the ball and how some of the other great backs run they would notice a lot of similarities. The only thing i wish he was a little bit better at was VISION. Sometimes i think he misses some opportunities for cutbacks but I havent seen anyone in this league with his LEGDRIVE. That 2 foot gain he got after Urlacher hit him 2-3 yards deep in the backfield was just SICK and I really dont think anyone else in the league could have done that. And unfortunately he has been getting hit in the backfield all too often. Look I know he is not Barry Sanders but you know what "WHO IS????" We shouldnt expect him to be. I knew even with all of our problems this year that him or his will to win were definitely NOT the problem!!! I think we need maybe one monster Guard or tackle in the offseason and then maybe throughout the year our line can continue to gel for next year so we can start off the season the way we should have instead of being so far behind. My hats off to Ronnie he finally got the game he deserves against the best defense in the league!!!! I for one am ecstatic we got him. Too bad he wasnt hear about 10 years ago !!!!

The critics of Ronnie Brown never seem willing to admit that the offensive line has a great deal to do with it. He's not a Barry Sanders or LT type of back who can put moves on guys and find holes when the blocking breaks down. But, if he gets the blocking - he can really punish a defense and has good speed to go with it.

The OL did a good job this week and that made the difference. If they come together, this team can be good. It's what I and many others have been saying all along. They have to keep playing well.

I think they can have a good game against the Chiefs - but the team has to be as focused next week - if not more so - as they were this week.

I agree, Ronnie needs to keep on doing exactly what he did yesterday. If the OL and Ronnie work hard like they did in this game, they can rack up big yards like this every week. I bet they will. I think Coach Houck will remind the OL and Ronnie about how they did it in this game the rest of the year. I think Coach Houck has just the right combination of linemen in there now. They know they can make things happen now. It's got to be a big confidence boost for everyone when they go with the running game ... I'm sure Mularkey had a BIG grin on his face yesterday. The receivers and even Joey were blocking pretty good on a lot of the running plays. The OL also pass protected VERY well yesterday. Not ONE sack against the #1 defense in the NFL. THAT is awesome.

Sports Illustrated is calling Ronnie one of their "Studs of the Week". He's right up there with LaDainian Tomlinson and Larry Johnson. I know he's doing a heck of a lot better than #2 overall pick Reggie Bush. I think Ronnie's going to be a top 10 back for a long time. Unlike some top backs, Ronnie gives a lot of credit to the offensive line. Ronnie knows they make each other look good. The coaches definitely notice how the OL does a lot more than the fans do. If the OL keeps playing like they did today, they're going take this Dolphins team a long way. Those linemen can watch those highlights of Ronnie and pat themselves on the back if nobody else does.

"During his 24-game career with the Dolphins, Brown has been given 20 or more carries on just six occasions. The team won five of those games.
''That's an amazing stat right there,'' receiver Chris Chambers said. ``Well, I think we need to do that more often then.''

""He's breaking tackles and is a hard runner," said Bears defensive end Adewale Ogunleye. "Give him credit. We didn't underestimate him."

Brown's production is the best by an opposing running back at Soldier Field since then Colts tailback Edgerrin James romped ran for 204 yards for the Indianapolis Colts on Nov. 21, 2004.

Where are dmancari23 and RedneckFriend today ???? Hmmmm. :D

You won't be hearing from them :sidelol: No matter what, no matter how high we end up picking in the draft next year, we'll have this game, this one singular moment where the Dolphins stepped up and completely demolished one of the toughest opponents in the game, and proved they belonged. All of their whining and pouting can't change what happened on the field, and it sure as hell won't break us, the fans, or the team's spirit. Go Dolphins!!!! :dolphins: :dolphins: :dolphins:

What's hilarious about the critics is that they aren't seeing what we see because all they watch are the stats and highlights! When you watch the games you see the whole story and not some quick 3 minute reel of the game before a coors light commercial.
I really thought that the officiating was horrible yesterday. Some of their calls were poop. I told a dude I was drinking with "This is like we are playing the JETS with all these yellow flags!"

If this is Ronnie's one singular moment, I can guarantee that we WILL be hearing from those guys.

YES!!!

I thought it was ironic because all the talk about us getting the Dolphin knocked off our hats:)

Thank god, maybe they will just disappear from this board.. Nah, the next time we lose, they'll be right back with "FIRE SABAN" "RONNIE (THE BUST) BROWN", and all their ignorant comments they are so good at producing. Here's to hoping they find a new team to jeer for!:dolphins:
