With Ryan Tannehill taking the snaps, Jay Ajayi doing the dirty work on the ground and the addition of Julius Thomas to the receiving core of Jarvis Landry, Devante Parker and Kenny Stills the Dolphins offense is ready to make a run and get back to the playoffs and go further than the wild card game.

If Miami can improve the offensive line just a tiny bit, any defense going up against them will have a lot of planning to do on how to contain the Dolphins explosive offense. Keep Thomas healthy and on the field, he’s going give Tannehill another vertical threat and cause trouble for their opponents defense.

YES, YES , YES !!!!! WHEN IS THE LAST TIME WE READ ANYTHING LIKE THIS ABOUT MIAMI...

Julius Thomas 2011-2016 Games Played 53, Receptions 185, Yards 2018, TD 33
Jordan Cameron 2011-2016 Games Played 66, Receptions 173, yards 2046, TD 14

Hope Julius Thomas can stay on the field, but he's never played a full 16 game season in his career. Hopefully Thomas is the TE target that Cameron was supposed to be, but it's hard to feel confident about it.

It definitely feels like the stars are aligned for our offense and Tannehill to become a truly feared unit in 2017!! There are just too many factors going in their favor, from experience in the offense and in the nfl, to health, to upgrade players at TE and potentially OL.

And if the defense can just be pretty good (with decent LB play that should be possible), then look out....

It sounds good but unless they take care of the guard position it won't work

Ozzy rules

Dolphins still need to grow up. Tannehill needs to grow up more - take the next step. Devante needs to grow up and play into his beastly abilities.
Julius Thomas needs to grow up and learn to stay on the field and be clutch! Management needs to grow up and get us more offensive lineman that will bully defenses - Ajayi acts like a bully already. Drake needs to grow up! Carroo needs to grow up!

Jarvis is A MAN! but he does need to grow up AFTER the whistle.

I am not satisfied. I am not pleased. I am not relaxed. And I am not OK.

Because as a Dolphin fan I grew up expecting playoffs and greatness.

The mediocrity that has been the signature of this team for 20 plus years NEEDS to end.

So Gase needs to MAKE IT HAPPEN and prove he too is the MAN I think he is!

They better do something because we were
31st in 3rd down conversions last season

and 31st in total first downs.
as well as 27th in time of possession

Hopefully we'll improve on those numbers

As for Ajayi he did have 3 200+ games but the other 13
regular season games he averaged 50 yards rushing per game
and that is a huge problem with 2 retread guards and a center with Granny hips

But that's kinda how it goes for RBs. It's not as if they crank out 100 yards every game. Most of the good ones get that 40-60 yards per game but then bust out a handful of bigs games per season. It just depends if the other team is scheming against the run or if the Fins are trying to run more. I think a bigger measure of a RB is making the most of your touches, getting stronger throughout the game, and not making mental mistakes. Ajayi showed us that last year.

 @the offense being locked and loaded....

Elliott played 15 games and had 7-100 yard games and another 7 more 80+ yard games
Howard had 7-100+ games and another 3-80+ yard games
Murray had 5-100+ games and another 4-80+ yard games
Bell played in 12 games and had 6-100+ games and another 2-80+ yard games
McCoy played 15 games  had 6-100+ games and 1-80+ yard game
Johnson had 4-100+ games and 6-80+ games

Ajayi had 4-100+ games and ZERO 80+ GAMES

I realize our offensive line was in shambles for most of the season
but 13 games averaging 50 yards per is not going to be helpful to this team

May also be a contributing factor why we were 31st in total 1st downs
or why we were 31st in converting 3rd downs and 27th in time of possession

I want to see how well Tanny bounces back from his Injury before I get to excited.

We could have spent money on one of the top level guards...drafted a guard high, and not worried aboit the line for 2-3 years.

Last year...instead of Drake, we could have drafted Thuney.

I'm not sold on "Im Gase We Trust," especially if this draft is bungled.
