Do your homework. Colt Brennan is staying in school.
Good article (I replaced Brennan with Stanton). :D Two things not mentioned with parting ways with Culpepper is Miami can choose to only take a $1.4 million hit on Culpepper's bonus this year and thus free up $5.5 million in salary cap space this season. Miami would then be responsible for the other $4.2 million in 2008. The other thing not mentioned is by releasing Culpepper this year and taking the full hit this year Miami will not only decrease the cap by $1.3 this year, but also another $4.2 million in 2008.:smackhead:
Terrible job on my part, just terrible. I heard he declared, and then never heard anything more about it, so I assumed he was in the draft for good. But, he's rescinded his declaration. I think Scouts, Inc. deserves a hefty share of the blame for leaving his name in their top 32 players.
Just sub "Drew Stanton" and "third round pick" where you see "Colt Brennan" and "second round pick", and the analysis is pretty much the same.
he was using brennen just as a what if?!!?Do your homework. Colt Brennan is staying in school.
