I thought this was a really nice (and obviously sad) story, i really hope and pray the kid gets the help he needs. Ireland and the team do a lot to help out kids with autism and it was good to see them promote this

Hate to hear that, at any age, but when's it's a child really breaks your heart. Our fifteen year old niece was just diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, Ewing Sarcoma.

Her parents and all us adults would trade places with her if we could. Like Jim Mandich said when he was going through his treatment and saw all those sick children, take me before them.
 
stories like this make you realize just how unimportant football or any sports are in the grand scheme of things.

we all ( including myself) get angry when the fins lose and argue with eachother on finheaven, etc, yet when u read a story like this, it puts things in perspective. our biggest problem sunday is whether the fins can beat the falcons or not, and this kid monday is going to be having surgery to try and save his life.

i hope the dolphins can pull through and make this kid happy with a win sunday, but more importantly, i hope the kid has successful surgery on monday and has a speedy and full recovery.
 
good for pouncey, and everyone else involved actually. why does the hat story make national media, but not this? sure is easy to hate people for something these days
 
It is not much, but I am sending $50 right now. I hope Fin Fans come through all over the place and help the family. God bless.

It is not much in the grand scheme of things, but imagine if just half the people that read Beasley's story and those that read the Pouncey Boys Tweets gave just $20? It would make a huge difference for the family.

The same goes for the insurance company. I would love to know the name of the company that would deny a procedure at Dana Farber of all places.

It is so sad. One day we will see an end to these diseases. They are so close on some. While I have no business being in a science lab, people like us can give money to legit causes and our thoughts and prayers to those that need help.

I'm not wealthy by any means, but I don't care. I'm donating tomorrow. I hate cancer. Hell, I'd donate if the kid was a Jets fan. This just isn't fair.

This times infinity times infinity. Wrote the check, put it in the slot. The kid could be a Jets fan and the son of Pats fan. I wouldn't care. No parent should ever bury their child. Good Luck Dillon and get well!!!!!!
