did you see what james got paid?Because we’re filling the hole left by letting our competent right tackle leave by using a first round pick to replace him. That’s the definition is spinning your tires in the mud.

...all this complicated talk is (forgive me) a bunch of hot air hype BS crap!
Let's solve the OL riddle this draft and address/solve he DL as well.
For once in like 30 years -- start a job and finish it!
After that -- address the QB and DBs next year.
After that -- fix/tweak the rest.
But for frogs snakes -- get the focking OL fixed!!!!!!!!!!!!
And no more surgically repaired "enhanced" droids like Long!
Better coaching is gonna do wonders for that oline.
Hope so. I know zilch about this new OL coach.
You think he's bad a$$?
I wouldn't have an issue if Miami is holding off until 2020 to go after their franchise QB. And if Tua is the main target (meaning Miami is playing to win the fewest games) then a legit RT makes sense. Although this is a defensive heavy draft at the top most of the blue chip talent will have been drafted by pick 13.
OL generally need at least a year to develop and would rather have a RT with a year of experience protecting QBs blindside, assuming it is Tua, than a rookie or paying $$$$ on a FA in the off season.
I think Miami could get more bang for their buck on DL in free agency in 2020 than spending it on the OL. The average amount per team being spent on the OL is $34.7 million and $27.3 on DL as it stands right now. So if Miami can get a legit RT under a rookie contract all the better.
And I'm not attached to Miami drafting an OL with 1st round pick, I can see the logic in it.

Overpaying mediocre players isn't getting you to a Super Bowl either, so I really don't know what your point is.Yes. Let me know when unused cap space leads to Super Bowl wins and I’ll consider your point.
no complaints about Ricmond Webb, Tunsil etcI keep seeing RT at 13 and it really makes me nervous. It'd show Grier hasn't learn anything yet. Nothing against the player. Would love to have him on our team but drafting a RT at 13 is not the way to go. When you draft that high you need to be drafting QB,DE or a top Corner.
so youd over pay for no eyebrowsYes. Let me know when unused cap space leads to Super Bowl wins and I’ll consider your point.
