Awaiting posts proclaiming them both Hall of famers.
We can only hope. Not many people mentioned it but, I was concerned about this position. FB that is. After all, the guy we have now was a CAM PICK. That alone says the chances are he isnt any good. 
I will say it for the 8th time. Cam had one good pick. Satele. Ginn was the wrong pick at the time, and its tough to take a bad player at pick 9. So he got two good players and one pick right. Good job Cam.

i like Mauia, but if this drafting means the end of him then i'm okay with that because it means Hilliard beat him out.
I know right. Thats the problem we had last year. Everyone swore all of our picks were so good and thats why people fell in love with Beck especially and guys like Booker etc etc.
Lets see these picks this year play in games that count before we convince ourselves we had a good draft.

I would say that the fact he is a product of the previous regime is more the reason he will likely be gone... BP has been targeting them with a vengeance...

Exactly.
However I think the problem with all these Beck lovers is they so badly want to believe we made this diabolically smart move passing on Quinn at 9 and getting Beck in the second round, when right now it's looking like an absolutely horrible choice.
Let's let these guys at least get into training camp and see what happens.

We were 1-15 last year.........Haven't made the playoffs in 5+ year.....I hope there is a lot of people he's targeting.
NO KIDDING. There are only a couple of players worth keeping that have been here. Ginn, Carey, and Satele come to mind. There are a few others but, the rest of them worth keeping are mostly older guys who will need to be replaced anyways like Holliday.
This team is going to be completely rebuilt. And to rebuild it starts with the front 7, QB, and OL. And thats what Parcells is doing. Those are his keys to victory. He will continue to draft guys on the front 7 in defense next year.
Everyone is whining about CB and WR. Two positions he dosent place premiums on and can usually be found in FA if necessary.
The front 7 though, its tough to find quality guys who have played in a 3-4 on the open market. He dried it up this year and got anyone with experience as stop gaps until he spends the next 2-3 drafts getting the 7 he wants.
He also dosent put a premium on RB and harps about how you can find good ones late in the draft. This is one of the few positions that is true for. RBs are a dime a dozen anyways. Most teams have two good ones and you can find em just about anywhere. FA's every year. Look at the dude GB found last year. Bradshaw for the world champs....round 7. Marion Barber was a 4th rounder of Parcells'.
Look for LBs in the draft next year. Parcells will make sure we are DEEP at OL too. QUALITY DEPTH too, not just warm bodies. Probably draft a couple more next season. Cant wait. This team is gonna be good in a few years.
