He needs to work on escaping the pocket ( Tony Romo spin, curley shuffle, somethng ) & hitting a wide open receiver. Work on it all offseason if he has to to be better if he wans to be one of the best . I'm not blaming Tanehill as that goes to needing a running back ,better D, etc. This all being said I'm holding out hope we get in and knowing anything can happen from there. GO FINS!!

So nobody feels he needs to work on escaping the pocket?

No. Of course not. Whatever MINOR flaws he has are just due to his youth and inexperience. He is a 2nd year player for christ sakes. Not only that he only had a few starts in college. Give him time. He is a young Tom Brady.

He cant play every game perfect yet. Just most of them. Whenever it looks like he isnt doing well, thats just because Sherman blows and he has no weapons thanks to Ireland. His WRs do not know how to catch and fight for a ball. If they did, he would put up Peyton like numbers. Some of those guys need to learn how to run routes as well.

It will come in time. It will all work itself out. Tannehill is too great of a QB for it not to. Just be patent. Those games like you saw him play vs. the Pats last week will become the norm. Just give the GM time to bring in some OLmen, fire Sherman, and the kid more time to get in sync with Wallace. Once it all comes together there is no stopping us.

i dont know if i would say he is a young tom brady, but he is very similar.

he is very raw though, and if our ****ing o line, like u mention can actually block , he would be awesome.

i do deff feel that the performance we saw from the pats game last week is more like tannehill and not the one vs the bucs, or the bills 2x. the kid is just way too talented imo to play like he did yesterday.

i fully expect him to come out vs the jets sunday and throw for 300 plus yds and 3 tds and lead us to the playoffs.

we do need to get him more weapons for next season no doubt, bc lack of weapons is holding this kid back a ton imo.

That post you responded to was sarcasm by our resident troll. He thinks that Tannehill is the problem and the front office, coaching, play calling, blocking, and defense are all outstanding. Sadly that's not sarcasm. He really believes that.

He had a great elusive escape yesterday and launched it deep perfectly to Hartline in stride..... who dropped it! Yay.

It'd be nice to see a few rollouts and bootlegs now & then but WV has it. I would add replace Thomas w/ Blue (LSU) and add Prosch (Auburn) as an FB.

The @ OL I'd get are Erving (FSU OT) & Groy (Wisconsin OG).

i dont think his post was being sarcastic in this case.

everything he mentioned seems pretty accurate to me.

we deff need a new oc, sherman has to go he is holding this offense back. why is it that we r always stuck with these horrible offensive coordinators.? henning, sherman, its unbelievable the bad luck we have in choosing our oc's

and as he points out, like we all know, we do need more weapons for him. get him a guy who can go up and get the ball in the air and he will be very good, and of course we need a ****ing o line, its the worst i have ever seen.

No word yet on his status?

He is injured, Moore will probably start next week.

His numbers this year are MUCH better than last year. He has more TDs many fewer INtz & turnovers and a better completion percentage.

All that said, he is absolutely NOTHING like Tom Brady. He is a system QB with a very high ceiling but Brady is a Hall of Fame QB.

Even when he was drafted he exuded confidence in a way that Tannehill doesn't come close to.

How can he not be like Brady? Brady was a sixth round pick that has done great. Tannehill was a first round pick. I think Tannehill would be lightyears better if he had a better offensive line and play calling. His numbers are already matching up with Brady almost.

Oh yea. Then why did Tannehill OUT DUEL Tom Brady TWICE this year? Brady got lucky in that first game the refs bailed him out. Brady had like 25 yards or something in the first half of that game. Tannehill clearly out played him.

You answered your own question there.

Being a 6th round draft pick means he had NOTHING in common with Tannehill.

Ryan was drafted at the top of the 1st round, his college coach is his OC, his QB coach from college is STILL his QB coach.

He was HANDED the starting job in preseason.

Brady had to work for everything he ever got.
