I wracked my brain today after the news that the cheating scandal has possibly covered some 5 years. I have been the commish in my family's Fantasy league for going on 11 years now. After a devastating season (I had a GREAT team, but by far got most Points against of any team) I got to thinking.....some people in my league benefited from a cheating patriots team. I sent this email to my league on how we're going to deal with the situation...I suggest you do the same if you run a league

Email to Phantasy Football Phenomenon
If you haven't already heard there is breaking news concerning the New England
Patriots cheating scandal. In addition to illegally taping the Jets this year
they also taped the STL Rams prior to their 2002 Super Bowl.
We now have cases sprouting up from 2002-2007, which is a 5 year span of
cheating allegations. The "Patriots Dynasty" is obviously a farce, built on
deceptive practices by one "Bill Bellicheat".
How does this concern our family? While the NFL may or may not take further
action, we at the Phantasy Football Phenomenon have decided to not wait for
further action from congress or the NFL, we feel that it is imperative to
maintain the integrity of the game, and thus are handing down harsh penalties to
parties who may have benefited from this farce.
This past season, two members of our league benefited greatly from a dynasty
built on deception. Those two teams are "Toms Trouncers" and "Ducking Domination".
Duckling Domination lives in the NE area, and was obviously privy to the
Patriots deception of the NFL and fans world wide. Toms trouncers also displayed
highly questionable knowledge of the Patriots impending "Historic*" by taking
long shots Randy Moss and Wes Welker high in the draft well before they were
slated to be drafted.
Due to this information coming to light, I see no alternative but to strip Toms
Trouncers and Duckling Domination of all accomplishments from this past season.
These two teams will be placed in the 9th and 10th spot of the league standings
(alphabetically of course) and Hurricane Camille and Can of Whup *** will be
promoted to the Playoffs. The Playoffs have been recalculated for the following
outcome.
League Champion: Hurricane Camille (After an unexpected Run, Hurricane Camille
won it's way to the league championship. After running the numbers, I find this
inevitable and it shall not be questioned.
2. The Brown Clevelands (you would have lost to me steve, admit it)
3. Hurricane Ditka (Would have beat DD had he not cheated, and had a great
playoff run)
4. Fishy Joe's (Great team who was helped by the absence of the powerhouse
"Hurricane Camille)
5. Can O Whup *** (Could have won had you not had injuries)
6. Del Notre Boys (Admit it, you had NO business being in the playoffs anyway)
7. Organized Confusion (not a bad finish for a noob)
8. BAMFS (Not a bad finish for someone who hardly played)
9. Duckling Domination (I'm docking you your first round pick for next year for
having such a girly name too)
10. Toms Trouncers (Thought you'd FINALLY snatched a Sheisman didn't you?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA! I'm not docking you and picks next year...your name is lame
but not girly)
