There is nothing more polarizing to the blog than the QB...Is he the answer we all have longed for or Is he the second coming of Chad Henne?

I had a thought ...As someone who has neither praised RT or berated him I submit the Olive leaf of peace to all who frequent this place.

Repeat after me...

I ________ , As a staunch RT supporter promise to support RT going from this point and through the Raiders contest and realize that if he stumbles...bumbles & loses the game on the scoreboard regardless of the WR drops,Lack of protection causing sacks or poor play calling by the Staff will not come to his aid next week by posting in his defense...I will let Rome burn.

We need Change

I _________, As a staunch RT criticizer promise to support RT going from this point and through the Raiders contest and realize that if he scrambles...hits Wallace in stride & Wins the game on the scoreboard regardless of the inaccuracy,missed RZ opportunities or balls batted down at line of scrimmage will not come to flame him next week by posting negatively...I will let the Dog have his day.

For a few days may we all be a fan-base again...In-spite of the franchise.

Just what this forum needed, a metathread started by a guy who re-registered with a screen name intended to troll another poster.

Brilliant.
 
My take is:

- be a Dolphins fan first
- don't hate a player because he sucks at football, if he was drafted in the 6th round would you be so full of hate?
- Rome was destroyed with 6+ bad drafts and won't be re-built in 2014
- don't disagree on something that IF you really were an expert, you would be a millionaire and not a internet forum scrub
- the NFL is so complex that I will personally NEVER be able to judge RT with certainty, the NFL and time will judge him
- give Philbin and RT the few months they have left to determine their fate without knee-jerking every 7 days(I was angry at HT of the Pats game and then excited about the team, and now this)

Completely unrelated note:

Stegmaier Pumpkin Ale may well be the most underrated Pumpkin beer on the planet. I snagged the last case my local distributor had today.
