The NFL needs to ensure that the playing fields are in good condition. The Pats stadium turf is horrible. We had players falling and OM missed the first field goal due to the horrible condition. On his second FG the center hiked the ball at an angle due to the middle of the field being so bad. Our stadium isn't much better either and the NFL needs to step up. One last thing, I am not saying we lost due to the field but come on lets make sure the field is in good condition.

i agree 100%.

the pats field was atrocious... i was embarassed and i'm not even a pats fan. the pats are one of the most profitable franchises of late, and they can't even spend the $$ to take care of their turf? it was appalling! the worst field i've seen in the NFL... we have less dirt in our baseball diamond in our field. the NFL should enforce a field-integrity level that should be met with fines.

that part of the normal deal up there on how they cheat to win

Why would you post something like that??? Are you trying to make me mad or something??? I won't go to your level. All I am saying that is a horrible field and the NFL needs to do something about it. boohoo????? No wonder everyone hates NE fans they can't have a conversation with out making a remark like that!

yea i agree, this is a profesional league and the fields are just horrible i mean honestly my highschool turf is 100x better than what we have or the pats have (well it is a 2 million dollar field that is the same turf as the meadowlands), but seriously dirt patches everywhere and baseball diamonds on the field just have to stop its sloppy and unprofessional

it looked like games were being played on that field 7 days a week....... I don't get it.... why have such a poor playing field ?

It was green painted dirt in the middle of the field. The problem is they play soccer on the field. Ne needs to be ashamed of itself for allowing a professional football game to be played on that field.

i don't think it was the reason we lost, but you guys should be embarassed.. .that is the worst field in the NFL.

that stadium is absolutley beautifull, yet they still are willing to let that field look like crap. but in all fairness, the score may have been 27-10 if watson hadnt slipped on the grass.

Pats fan here and I agree that a team shoudln't be able to keep their field in such horrible condition. Don't worry, when the Colts lose at NE this year Polian will go crying to the right people and this will get taken care of.

Their field always sucks. I thought it was only during the cold season that it came apart. But it's all the time. It's like they play rock concerts and high school football games there on Fridays and Saturdays and then go, "oh, the Pats have to play here Sunday, so let's put some green paint over these clumps of crap so they can play here on this NFL field."

What a joke of a place they have.

im a patriots fan and im not the least bit embarassed .I like a coach who leaves no stone unturned in helping his team win and keeping the field like that gives the pats a slight advantage and thats why the field is the way it is not because they dont want to spend the money.thats why they call it homefield advantage .

This is the most rediculous thought I have read in some time. And reading this forum, "the sky is falling", that says a lot. I don't think having a field in such condition gives them an advantage. Both teams have to contend with the field. If Brady was injured due to the field and out for the season, how would that be a home field advantage? You don't put your players at such high risk. They should get it fixed. It is bad for the game, it is bad for the NFL and all teams who play on it.

And let me state, the FIELD IS NOT WHY WE LOST. It surely didn't help but is not the reason for it.
