Was reading a DC columnist's report that despite his best efforts, Dan Snider couldn't outbid the Jest since he lacked a 2nd round pick with which to compete. Knowing Snider's M.O, he also would have thrown in some non-essential role players as well, if that's what it took. Of course we're talking about the Jason Taylor 44th pick vs. the 52nd pick actually ended up being packaged by New Jersey.

Only time will tell whether this turns out to be a blessing or curse as far as the Aqua Orange are concerned. Taking the long view, I for one, would have preferred to see him in Denver or Seattle and Jersey ending up with Quinn, Anderson or Campbell..

I can't wait till our "D" welcomes him to the NFL

I'm glad the Jets traded the farm to move up for Sanchez. He played 16 games on a ridiculously talented Trojan team against teams that couldn't really compete. I'm not saying he's going to be a bust, but I don't see him being special.

If Tenenbaum likes him that means he's terrible. It's as easy as that.

I feel the same way. I think Sanchez will be serviceable at best...I seriously doubt he is anywhere near above average.

Sanchez dosen't scare me. If Matt Ryan was drafted by the Jets then I would be nervous.

who cares, I think we were more focused on filling our glaring needs and adding depth for our own team, not who another team is getting as a QB

I like the fact that the are going to have garuntee him at least 30 million to find out if they made a mistake. If they did mess up the are seriously screwed if we dont go into an uncapped season.
