Saying that you still have faith in Henne to succeed is like a drug addict saying that he's not a drug addict. Every one needs to just accept that our starting QB is quite possibly the worst starting QB in the league. Maybe Beck or Grossman might be worse but they all suck really bad so what does it matter. Henne is bottom 5 no question. Please everyone, just accept it so we can move on. Why not see what Matt Moore can do. Couldn't be worse than Henne

Ummm....it's NOTHING like that at all. Talk about a bad comparison. Thank goodness we still have three preseason games left to see which QB gives us the best chance to win during the regular season.

I agree, I want to see what Moore can do with the first team but it won't happen Sparano is too stubborn.

Chad Henne is not great and I doubt he has much of a future in Miami past this season, but stat wise for his first two years starting, he is better than Mark Sanchez. Who some consider a top 10 QB and the next big thing. Yet Henne, has similar if not better stats and is considered the worst and some people say that many backups are better. Curious huh?

Yeah he probably is to stubborn. He may or may not be here next year. I'm gonna hope for a freak miracle that Henne has a turnaround but as stated. That would just be my inner Dolphin hoping for what most know can't happen. Henne becoming a really good QB would be like winning the lottery. Is it possible...yes......is it likely.....F**K NO

Careful! Don't want a certain Jet fan highjacking this thread! :chuckle:

With all due respect and don't take this wrong way, but why are you not coaching the team, how come youre sitting on your couch and Ireland is the GM. Why are you not Sporano's assistant? At least, why are you not an NFL scout? Just saying is all. Until then, I have to listen and follow the people in charge until otherwise, You know the people who have made this sport their lives.
Let me ask, how close are you to making the NFL coaching ranks, or are you personal friends with Ross. Just asking in case this regime gets canned, because I was wondering if you are going to throw your hat in the ring.

I liken it more to beaten wife syndrome. He keeps abusing us, but we just keep coming back to him every year.

InB4 NYJunc in 1,2,3....

I usually agree with you on most things Nubs but I just see it as being darn near impossible for Henne to become a solid starter in this league. Of course I think Sanchez hasn't proven a whole lot more than Henne either. Nyjunc clearly over hypes Sanchez but I think that he has played atleast somewhat better than Henne regardless of stats

Hi, my name is blindly-positive-Dolfan and I'm a positive-spin-aholic.

Yep, that QB-less draft was like a battered spouse getting beaten again and positive-spin-Dolfans who are now saying that all those rookie QBs (like Mallett) sucked anyway - they remind me of the battered spouses who then say it was their fault for getting hit - "I should've had his dinner ready when he got home".

If Henne sucks when the actual season is going on, we will probably see Matt Moore sooner than later. If that happens Henne and Sparano will be gone next year and our fans can get a new coach and quarterback to crucify. I'd just as soon hold out hope that Henne does do well this year because I want our team to go forward rather than backward.
