They throw the dice all the time when it comes to QB.

Actually, I think people tend to criticize the front office for being too conservative. People always seemed to criticize them for not taking chances, not making bold moves, or attempting to upgrade the QB position.

Well now it appears as if they are taking a chance, making a bold move, in an attempt to upgrade the QB position.

I'm anxious to see what happens and how it turns out. After all, Rick and Dave just put their jobs in the hands of A.J. Feeley yesterday.

If they were gamblers and had only the teams best interest in mind they would have gotten Henson.

No. Getting a QB that hasn't played football in 3 years and was inexperienced at the collegiate level before that is not in the best interest of the team. That is a move that only appeases the fans desire to have a name quarterback.

Of all the QBs that could be available, the two best for the Miami Dolphins are Patrick Ramsey and AJ Feeley. Washington won't trade Ramsey, so the Dolphins went after and got Feeley.

If Miami goes after Henson, then Jay Fiedler would be the starter for another two years in Miami. That is not the road this team needed to take. If Miami waits till the draft, they probably miss out on all the QBs.

Ramsey and Feeley were the best options because they both represent an immediate upgrade as well as a long term fixture at the position.

This is not a gamble. A gamble is waiting to see if rivers (who is climbing draft boards across america) will fall to us at 20. that is a gamble.

Besides, whoever brought up Henson or anyone else, how do you know we are done looking for anybody? You cant simply take off the cuff remarks made by spielman or any newspaper at this point with any kind of sanity or clarity. They all say stuff to get stuff goin. How do you know Spielman isnt talking to hensons agent right now?

Bottom line: Nobody will be happy until we go to the big dance whethere it was Brunell, Eli Manning, Ramsey or whoever else you want to make your supossed savior.
