Man, I tell you guys what... After the way this season ended and the coach situation and the turmoil and not knowing what will come next I've really been eating up all the good stuff happening to Zach and Jason!!
I love this quote from Dr.Z's ratings of the All-Pro Team... WOW!
MIDDLE/INSIDE LINEBACKERS (Zach Thomas)
I started with five but gave up on the Broncos Al Wilson early on because his game just wasn't what it used to be. En fin, it ended up as a very close call, the Dolphins' Zach Thomas, at 5.8, narrowly edging Chicago's Brian Urlacher (5.7). At the beginning of the season I thought Thomas' days were numbered because he seemed to be fading a bit, but then he came on strong. His instincts are on a par with those of the great MLBs in history.
JT gets Defensive Player of the Year, NFL Alumni DE of the year and AP All-Pro team (ProBowl starter)
Zach gets NFL Alumni LB of the year, AP All-Pro Team and the highly coveted Ed Block Courage Award (very angry that mediocre Al Wilson is starting over him in Pro-Bowl, he should call in sick)
Even though we suffered a losing season ending in questionable fashion it's nice to have a couple guys of there caliber! No matter who the coach ends up being we have to keep Dom Capers as the DC. Don't mess with this defense besides adding to it PLEASE! I also think that this season may be what puts them both over on the HOF talk after there careers are finished.
