I was at the game here is what I saw

The Good

1- Even when we fell behind and wernt playing so well the fans stayed

2- That long TD to marty booker was amazing

3- The defense didnt have a great day, but they were hitting hard! Zach had a few plays were he knocked the crap outta guys

4-Chris Chambers caught another TD, he didnt have a great day but he did a nice job

5- We excecuted well on the sideline routes which is important

6- Jason Taylor im not sure on the number but he was getting to bollinger a lot and Matt Roth got a sack, good pressure on the QB

7- Turnovers, we won the turnover battle, always a good thing

The Bad

1- Where was everyone? The stadium was only half full

2- Doug Jolley caught a HUGE TD, where was the defense? He is a TE no way somone got burned

3-Gus Frerotte.....man I stood up for you all week and you throw that pick? come on man how am I supposed to defend your play now?

4- Brooks Bollinger looked like a first round draft pick...and thats sad

The Ugly

1- Two Jets fans were removed from the game

2- We were extremly nice to the jet fans, they treated us like crap *my section anyway*

3- MISSED TACKLES far to many leading to jet first downs

4- The botched field goal for the jets cost them the game, they would have only been down 1 and kicked a game winning field goal

5- Bad Refs, they called a penalty on I believe it was reggie howard....usually I dont stick up for the guy but it was incedental contact, he was looking up for the ball and their legs got tangled, on 4th and 13 the refs almost handed the jets the game

Questions

At the game they dont announce this

1- Was gus benched or injured?

2- Did ronnie get hurt?

Good points.

1) Gus was pulled because he hurt his hand making the tackle after the INT (which wasn't his fault really...it was in Gilmore's hands)

2) Ronnie hurt his knee a little bit but he says he is fine

yeah gilmore did cost us that INT really, but it goes on Gus's stat sheet....so this week Im gonna have a harder time defending him

This is kind of off-topic, but you have over 2,000 posts and it says you joined in December of 2005, is that right? if so, WOW, lol.

As far as the game, it wasn't on here and I didn't get to see it but we got the win, and seem to have great momentum ad confidence now. I notice, from the results and highlights and posts on here about the games, that when we get down early now it seems like we show drive and determinatio to finish the game instea dof seeming to "give up" like we were earlier in the season. This season has definately been a success in my eyes. How can anyone say it ISN'T a success (not that you did, it was just a general question), we have won more than 4 times thsi year, which was our total last year, that right there is the most obvious imporvement.

I can't believe we are winning games in December. Did this team forget how to lose everything at the end of the season. WOW it sure feels nice.

Yeah I was proud they did hang in there and pull in out, but in the third quarter they looked kind of dead...and the crowd sounded kind of dead, but in the fourth quarter everything came back to life

I think what we are witnessing is the transformation according to "NICK". No more December debacles, No more 4th quarter fades, and attitude that says we can beat anybody we play. Wanny is gone, there is a god!

gus made a hell of a play, someone tipped it up (gilmore) and it was INT...no way u blame him...be happy he avoided the sack and almost made an awesome play!!

I aswell didn't see the game. It sucks living in Pennsylvania because the only freaking games on are always the Eagles or Steelers. Anyway I'm pleased with the play of the Dolphins this year. Especially in the last 4 games they have really started to make a name for themselves. I just wish we would've had those three games back earlier this year which costed us the playoffs. But next year it's on.

IMO, Chris did what I want from him-have a consistent game. Caught a td and a few important catches for us. I don't expect or even want record setting performances every week, I just want him to show up week in and week out.

I have kind of a trivial question about the reffing-
When that stinkin' Jet sacked Gus and then did the little 2 handed wave to the qb, how is that not taunting? Don't get me wrong, I actually thought it was funny, but how can they ever call taunting again if they didn't call it on that play?

I thought the exact same thing! It's all about which ref is there to see it. Each ref's definition of taunting is different from another's.

I'm a high school ref and it's the same thing down here. What I might let go, another ref will throw a flag on - and vice versa.

Compare this to Randy getting a flat after that TD in BarfaLOW earlier this year. It's insane that Randy was flagged, but that Jet wasn't. If you had the NFL ref director review them, he would probably come up with some insane reason to defend it - but then would berate the refs behind closed doors for being inconsistent!

Get DIRECTV or DISHnetwork.

You will be happy you did.

I am.

Speaking of those who actually saw the game, did anyone pay much attention to the play of the back up RG's? How was Berger? How was Ephraim? Or should I say, who was the lesser of 2 evils? Very curious. Thanks.
