Every article I read about our phins is negative. On average we are ranked in the bottom three on every single ranking online. Predicted to win 5-6 games. A certain sports book have us 10000-1.thats not a typo.thats just mind boggling. And all that before training camp. I may have rose colored glasses on because I just dont think we are this bad. Am i missing something?

Which book is that it need to take a long shot

Been reading negative off-season stuff about this team for a decade or more. No surprise to read it this off-season too. We'll be better than 5-6 wins. In Gase I trust!

There's a reason we've been reading negative stuff about this team for a decade. Because, they've basically been a bad team for a decade.

Every year we fans complain about lack of respect while optimistically believing all the summer moves will work out.

And nearly every year, the naysayers are right.

Maybe they won't be right this time. Either way who cares? It's their opinion and it's guesswork.

1000-1? I would get a lot more than my $20 worth of fun just watching us hover near playoff eligibilty and knowing my longshot $20,000 is still in play!

Looks like it’s time to take a trip to Vegas and put $20 on our Super Bowl run.

Practically every single area of this team will be improved this season. Anyone that can't see that is blind.
Except for possibly defensive tackle which is important but it's not like they were dominating before. With improved lb play it should help the run

if we win they over value us, if we lose or break even they are going to downplay us. Truth is the media wants to see an elite offense or defense before they remotely value a team. we have neither, on paper hopefully we are at least a solid team. Solid teams are no fun to talk about, they do their job, our competitive, possibly make the playoffs, then more than likely lose to a team with an elite D or O. I'm always a homer and a RT supporter but I think our O is closer to showing potential eliteness than our D. If our O can take the major jump this year then next year we do whatever we can to solidfy the LB corp.

pretty much if you want to hear everyone talking positive about us at this time next year, we got to make the playoffs. if you want to hear everyone riding the fins jocks next offseason, you have got to make the playoffs, win a game, and A) have the new OL show out so Drake can go beast mode and RT17 can stay upright and show out or B) have our D play up to their contracts or draft positions and shut people down

After last season we're lucky they let us continue to stay in the NFL. We were awful and in many games we didn't really offer much competition. Watching our games became harder and harder as the season wore on. So we cut all our big name stars and we expect Vegas to see us as a 10 win team? C'mon, if you travel the country nobody is impressed with Dolphins, should they be? Based on what?

But, I'm in S. FL and the team has received what I call a stunning makeover. I love all the new talent that the team brought in. Gase realized that his All Stars weren't helping us compete at a high level. He also got sick of overpaying them to screw up. So he brings in Danny Amendola, Mr Super Bowl, a high quality player and person. Albert Wilson from the Chiefs is a move people down here quietly like very much. The oline seems like we finally have the right players and some decent depth. Gore, Drake and Ballage will tote the rock behind a suddenly talented oline. Speed on both sides of the ball has been dramatically improved and our D has a chance to be much better. Fitz will see to it that everyone is lined up correctly and I expect him to make huge plays for us. McMillan is coming back and teaming back up with Jerome Baker from Ohio St. We know about all these changes and we're excited, at least I am, did I mention GESICKI, love the guy. Vegas's point of view is that we haven't done it on the field and until we do they're not going to be too impressed with Miami's chances this season. The National perspective on Tannehill is that he's barely good enough to start. He also hasn't played in a long time and in the NFL you get forgotten fast. He must go out this season and change the narrative on himself and his team. If he plays great and leads us to the Playoffs people will change their opinions but until then we're looked at as a 5,6 win team. I predict 10-6 with a Wildcard Berth.

We'll get respect when we've earned it.
